A wonderful stay in a beautiful village, with a great location, friendly staff, and a fun pub!

I had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the pub downstairs was a lot of fun, with great service and friendly staff. I heard good things about the restaurant, although I didn't get a chance to try it myself. The village itself is beautiful, and I will definitely stay here again when I return!

Nice accommodation close to all amenities

I enjoyed Donaghmore village with a great local supermarket and pizza takeaway. The Lower House pub is lovely and owner allowed food to be eaten inside the premises. Check in was helpful and friendly. Very convenient place to stay.

Would come again

Great pub next door. Really friendly locals!! Facilities were great but struggled to use the induction cooker and had some issues with hot water that were fixed when we reported them

We had a lovely, comfortable and restful time.

Excellent standard of furnishings and equipment for self-catering, socialising and comfort, all clean and well presented. Great to have a very nice bar joined on, and a beautiful church next to that! Lovely location with great views and easy travel distance to places of interest. John was very welcoming and helpful too.

Great stay in a fab and clean apartment

We loved our stay at the lower rooms and would def stay again. Only thing missing was a teapot and some decent sized mugs! But everything else you could possibly need was there in the apartment.

Nice place …. Great pub and restaurant

We stayed in number 36 which fronted the main road. The accommodation was good with good facilities. Unfortunately the place stunk of severe damp. It was very bad and would put us off from returning sadly. The restaurant was top class and we will make time to return to it. The pub next door too was very good and locals all very friendly.

Disappointed, delayed check in, freezing, no hot water, nice coffee machine but no pods to use it.

Clean, comfortable and centrally located.

The best night's sleep I've had in Ireland after a trip of 10 days! The bed was so comfortable and cosy. Stepping out of the apartment onto the street was great, no stairs to climb. I stayed for 2 nights and on the second evening it was a little noisy after the pub came out, some very loud women but, after that it was quiet and there was nothing the host could have done to stop it. Great local shops, especially the craft butcher next door and Jim McKee's Art & Antiques shop across the street.
