Had the loveliest holiday at the farmhouse - eight of us stayed very comfortably in the house and had lovely walks in the local area. You will absolutely need a car if you don’t want to be walking over an hour to the shops/pubs/restaurants but Clitheroe town is lovely and only a 20 minute drive away. Thanks so much for having us!
The Farmhouse was excellent for our party of 6, 5 adults and a 9 year old plus 3 dogs. The location was beautiful looking over very picturesque scenery.
We were greeted by Paul and the whatsapp instructions for collecting the key and times for arrival were exactly right.
The farmhouse kitchen was equipped extremely well for a large group. The sitting room had plenty of seating and a wonderful open fireplace with a plentiful amount of logs. The farmhouse hot water and heating were just right.
The bedrooms were very comfortable. The downstairs wet room, although quite small, functioned very well for someone with difficulty stepping over the bath upstairs for the shower.
The only negative would be the creaky floorboards upstairs especially in the second bedroom and the very creaky door hinges to the bathroom. I suppose thats acceptable for the age of the property.
It was a lovely stay, thank you Victoria and Paul
