Tybee Beach Front House with Private Dock-Best location on Tybee!

Located on the Beach Side of Chatham Avenue. Walk off the porch directly to beach and private dock! Original 1920s Fishing Cottage on Chatham Avenue, back river, south end of Tybee, fully updated with Huge Private Dock (rebuilt after 2017 hurricane-no floating dock) and direct access to beach. One of only 3 docks with beach access on the Back River. Views stretch from the South Point of the Ocean to undeveloped Little Tybee. Very private house with plenty of parking and large yard. No front or back door neighbors. Lots of windows for amazing views and light. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths inside. Bedrooms are small but very comfortable. Full bath and laundry room outside-perfect for showering kids off before coming in the house. Also has outside shower on walkway. Large kitchen, dining and living areas. Comfortable furniture, flooring and bedding. The most peaceful porch on Tybee with picnic table, plenty of seating and amazing views. Walk out of porch (or roll as we have a ramp) onto private walkway to beach and dock. Dock has electrical, water and large family picnic table, sink and serving area. A perfect place to enjoy all of your meals! Plenty of sun and shade areas on the dock as well as perfect views of Little Tybee and the Ocean. Unique property owned and loved by the same family for over 50 years.

Perfect location on Tybee. Park your car and walk or bike anywhere on the Island. Information on renting Kayaks, Paddleboards, Bikes, Golf Carts, Surfing Lessons and Fishing Charters provided once you book your stay, so you can have everything arranged before you arrive. Many great dining options available on the island and a full-service grocery store as well.

Arrival time 4pm and checkout time 11am. We provide all linens and towels as well as toilet paper, paper towels and laundry detergent to get you started. Various beach chairs, floats and toys are available as well as a fire pit. We also have a gas grill, a coffee maker that uses pods or can fresh brew and basic spices. All you have to bring is your groceries!

Delightful vintage house on Tybee with 6 screen doors! Has it's own pier/dock which was wonderful. Rooms are small but comfortable and there is a large screened porch to enjoy. The house is well stocked for cooking. Very pleasant stay.

My sisters and I recently stayed in this wonderful cottage. We loved the dock for fishing and sunning (we saw lots of dolphins!). All I have to say is book this house you won’t regret it!! My family, and I had the best time staying here. The location is 10 out of 10. The walk from the house to the beach and dock was so close!!! The host Elizabeth was great at communicating and always replied very quickly. The house was supplied with everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfy. Plenty of room to hang out, really enjoyed the screened in porch. We will definitely be coming back here yearly this is our new favorite spot on the island.

We had such a wonderful stay at this property. My husband likes to fish so he was perfectly content to stay on the pier all week. But my daughter and friend had a blast playing on the surrounding beach, paddleboarding in the river, and their most fun was catching crabs from the pier. Elizabeth was a great communicator and host. The perfect place to relax

The location was perfect to be away from everything, but still within a short bike ride of plenty of places to eat. The dock is amazing! This was the perfect place for me, my husband and our15 year old.

There is no better spot on Tybee if your gial is peaceful days and nights, few people, beautiful nature, sea kayaking from home, hanging out all day on the huge covered dock!

We have stayed at Mock Dock the last couple trips to Tybee and we absolutely love it. My brother’s grandson went on the trip this time and he had a great time. The dock is awesome and the Back River beach is also only steps away.

Mock Dock was fantastic!!

Best digs on Tybee!

Wow- we LOVED this house! Quiet street, only a short walk to the pier and shopping area. The house had all the rustic charm of old Tybee, while still being extremely comfortable. And a private dock?? Seriously amazing. We laughed because the dock alone was bigger than our whole living room at our house. We will absolutely be back!

‘Every so often, go where you can hear a wooden screen door slam shut.’And this property has five wooden screen doors.Nicely kept, charming cottage with fantastic waterfront access. It has everything you need for a small group stay, and is within walking distance to most of the hotspots on Tybee. I am so glad we found it.

Relaxation on the Back River

We had a wonderful time at the Mock Dock! The location is perfect and within walking distance to several restaurants and shops. We spent a lot of time relaxing and enjoying the incredible views on for dock and walking on the beach, which is steps away from the back door. The beds were very comfortable and the house is stocked with all your basic needs! We will definitely be back!!
