Fabulous location and cottage, but It is down a very narrow lane.

Fabulous location and cottage, but It is down a very narrow lane. The welcome pack was superb, the decoration absolutely lovely too. Very quiet and peaceful. Great walks from the cottage and great for exploring the area.

A very lovely cottage in a beautiful, remote location.

A very lovely cottage in a beautiful, remote location. The garden was wonderful to sit in. Fantastic welcome pack. The stairs might be tricky if you are not steady on your feet but that’s a minor quibble. Lots of lovely walks in the area and places to visit via car. Will hopefully visit again.

We really enjoyed our week away at South Wing Cottage.

We really enjoyed our week away at South Wing Cottage. It's a beautiful location and it's quietness was a really attraction. The welcome basket was generous and it was lovely to have some produce from the garden to have with our lunch. Being an annex to a larger house the layout is awkward but we thought this added to its charm. All modern conveniences were provided. The garden is truly dog proof and there are plenty of walks from the house to keep dog and family entertained. Good pubs are accessible nearby with a short drive and so are all of the local tourist spots. If you don't want to drive Bere Alston station is a shortish walk albeit uphill which provides frequent services to Gunnislake and Plymouth and all the towns and villages in between. All in all a lovely find.
