Charming Oast House

This unique yet comfortable home in the Sussex countryside made a perfect base for our family's Christmas break. The large kitchen with Aga was a cosy setting for casual family suppers and the spacious dining room comfortably seats eight. We loved the location on a working farm with and enjoyed country walks and pubs in the vicinity.

Absolutely Amazing

We had a family get together and the property was ideal. Set in the countryside it was very relaxing and perfect for what we needed. Carly and her husband were very accommodating and we couldn't ask for anymore. I would highly recommend.

A very Happy Easter

Beautifully maintained, in a wonderfully peaceful place. All we could hear was the sound of birdsong, and lambs bleating. Carly, our host, was helpful and interested in us, particularly the seven year old twins, who were thrilled to bits with the freedom to explore safely, going over two or three fields on their own. Their parents also appreciated the safe spaces! and we as grandparents were delighted to offer and enjoy it all too.

Wonderful retreat and amazing hosts

Exactly what we needed to decompress after a big move! Wonderful hosts in a fantastic setting and they didn’t mind our taking the children to the barn to see the animals, which was very nice of them. The oast house itself is spectacular and surrounded by breathtaking views as well as quaint villages (Mayfield). A great place to go ‘off-grid’ for a while, but still with driving reach of transport links in Tunbridge Wells.

Amazing property and country location

The property was immaculately clean and well organised. It is a absolutely beautiful and spacious property, and kitted out with many luxuries(such as a full radio speaker system in almost every room, luxurious lounge). The surrounding grounds(immediate to the property) are perfect for kids to run around, have fun with the house is great for them to play hide and seek!!. We had an amazing time at this property. The hosts were great with communication and friendly to talk to when we saw them. Highly recommend.
