About the host

Hosted by Marika

Host profile image
I’m Marika and I’m the owner of Casa Cicala , a nice country house that was built in the 80’ by my grandfather and that I inherited from my mother.
I was born in the beautiful Parma, in Italy and I grew up and lived there until I finished university .I then spent almost 10 years working for tour operators around the world…I got married and moved, with my husband Nikos and our daughter Katerina ,to the Swiss Alps where I managed an Italian luxury brand boutique in the glamour village of Gstaad.
As we moved back to Crete, we decided to renovate Casa Cicala to host people from all around the world in an “organic oasis” where everybody can spend a relaxing stay surrounded by nature, good weather and breathing the bohemian atmosphere of the center south of Crete.
