Located on beautiful Washington Square, this garden level apartment can provide comfortable accommodations for up to four Lucky guests. If you want to stay near the heart of Savannah’s nightlife and dining but still have a quiet retreat awaiting you each night, Washington Square Garden is the home you’ve been looking for.

Renovated to provide all the modern conveniences, you’ll still have the original exposed brick walls and ceiling beams to enjoy in the living room. Two red, plush couches provide plenty of seating, one doubling as a queen sleeper sofa. The small kitchen is very functional, and has everything you’ll need during your stay, including a mini fridge, microwave, and electric range. Enjoy coffee at the breakfast bar before strolling down River Street, where you can shop and dine in renovated cotton warehouses as you watch ships make their way down the Savannah River.

The digital nomad can get some work done at the desk in the bedroom, and when the day is done, curl up in the king sized bed for some quality shut-eye. The ensuite bath has a large double vanity, walk-in shower, and plenty of towels to use during your stay.

Just around the corner is the world famous Pirate’s House, which first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers, and quickly became a rendezvous spot for pirates. Heading out for the night? Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a wonderful location. Perfect size for 2 people. The only downfall is there needs to be a dehumidifier in the rental. It feels damp and smells musty on a humid day.

Fabulous Find

Needs some updating

Good bones, good bed. The magazines from 2014 ahould go, the VHS tapes too. We couldn't cast to the TV, we think b/c the remote is too old. And a trip to Dollar Tree would bring in some new glassware and plates that would make the place more welcoming.

Perfect location for exploring Savannah

Location, location, location! This Houston St. gem is a short walk to Savannah's best spots. If your feet get tired, cabs are cheap and easy to find. The house was clean and comfy, although a bit musty at first. Overall, a great spot to explore this beautiful city!

Quick trip, quiet neighborhood close to downtown

Little mixup with original booking but agency moved us here, which was my second choice for our Savannah stay. Beautiful property ready for checkin. We walked everywhere: downtown, restaurants, Kroger, passing thru Forsyth Park when necessary. I had already purchased a parking pass (for the originally booked property) but it wasn’t needed here. No issues with on-street space. The space is lovely. If you plan to cook, bring your condiments and seasonings. We forgot oil, but managed without. Kroger was close and one night we didn’t feel like enduring a restaurant. Easy, easy checkout procedures.

Great location. Clean cozy basement apartment. On the plus side: walking distance to downtown, across the street from Washington Square, close to the River Street walk. On the negative side: Across the street from Washington Square and all f the early morning dog walkers. I would stay here again!

Nice Basement Apartment

This is a nice place in a great location in Savannah. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. Parking was on the street for us, you pay the meter $1/hour between 8am-8pm with overnight and Sunday free. I have read a lot of people have trouble with parking, we were steps from the door and there seemed to be plenty available within a block in all directions. The apartment was nice with a comfortable bed, the pictures are accurate. We had no noise issues as others had talked about. The water pressure was a little low, but workable. The front door didn’t always close tight, it’s old, but it does if you pull it firmly. No real issues, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Great location, but…

the apartment is very small and smells musty. Very old and tiny kitchen so it would be hard to use anything other than the coffee maker. The bathroom was very clean but had very few towels for a 4 night stay and only 2 rolls of toilet paper so we bought our own. The bed was comfortable but I did have what appeared to be spider bites on my lower legs when I woke up. Overall the location made up for the negatives as it was an easy walk to most of the areas we were interested in visiting.

Was construction going on day and night, sawing, hammering, banging ladders, thomping around. Also plug in didn’t work in the bathroom, kitchen light switch broken, no light in the kitchen. Was burnt out. Mold in the bathroom shower. Window sills dirty. Outside steps were slippery with weeds and moss and dangerous. Freezer was solid ice and had to pick it out. Bed was nice

Great Location

Overall 9.99 of 10. I fully believe reviews are meant to help the owner get ever better than they already are. It was a bit unusual that there were no wash clothes in the bathroom. The mini fridge is a bit challenging but it was clearly stated in the description and being 110% honest there just isn’t room for a full size fridge. Overall, the condo was an amazing shape and it’s clean as it could possibly be. The check-in process was super easy and lucky made every attempt to communicate with us as much as possible. Check out was also extremely easy. The location of the property is second to none. You are close to every single thing you want to see in Savannah. The review might be a little nitpicky, but we would absolutely return to this very unit again for years to come right. Lucky is absolutely a preferred provider!!! Great job!!!!

Don’t expect to check in early

Don’t expect to check in early. We arrived an hour early and was told we couldn’t enter despite no one being inside the house. So we waited in the park on the bench without our luggage until we could check in. When we entered the house smelled so strong of cleaner we had to leave the doors open to air it out. The neighbors are pretty loud and since one internal door from the living room goes into another home, you could hear everything from their house. The living room furniture could use a good clean. The living room chair used to be white but looks quite gross. Can’t imagine what the red sofa would look like without a dark color. The bed is comfortable.. everything else was Great.

Comfortable, but for the money I expected more.

A great location and comfortable basement apartment. The couches and bed were comfortable. For the money, though, I expected more in the way of an updated kitchen. It is a tiny space, lacking an icemaker, wine glasses and knives. The walls and floors don't seem to be insulated and we heard amplified sounds from upstairs and the back. Only one hanger is in the closet. The entry had not been cleaned for our arrival. There was also a piece of wood out there with the nails pointing up, ready to harm a foot. The toilet paper and paper towels provided were so thin they were practically non-existent. The facial tissues were non-existent. Again, for the money, I expected more. These are all things easily corrected, except for perhaps the insulation.

Overall, we loved the location. We walked everywhere. The property manager was easy to communicate with, but this property is very outdated and not well maintained. We also experienced a few creatures during our stay (3 wasps and a lizard...inside). We weren't super concerned, as we understood this is a garden unit, but hope it isn't an ongoing issue and that they are spraying appropriately. There were also a few issues we had with cleanliness, but we reached out to the manager and they stated they would notify the cleaners. Again, we understand things happen, but hoping it is not an ongoing issue for other renters.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the location of this house. It was within walking distance to everything Historic district. The house was clean but it was not altogether comfortable. The couch and love seat were old and our backs hurt if you sat for a length of time. The kitchen has a small fridge and no dishwasher. The bathroom was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The only TV in the rental was in the living room. There was not one in the bedroom. There must not be much insulation in the floor above us because we could hear movement and some conversations from upstairs. The rental company (Lucky Savannah) was amazing. They held our luggage until we were able to get into the house. There was also 1 safety issue with the rental that they came and fixed the same day. I would rent from this company again.
