All you'll need is a carry-on full of swimsuits & the slippahs on your feet when you arrive at Kihei Sands Beachfront Condos in sunny South Maui. See what it's like to have your feet in the sand just seconds after walking out your door!

This ground-floor condo sits ONE BEHIND THE OCEANFRONT CONDO & has a WONDERFUL ocean-and-garden view. Our well-appointed KITCHEN has a microwave, stove, refrigerator & dishwasher. Preparing meals at home is a great option after long days at the beach. Fully stocked with essentials & equipped with everything you'll need to create & enjoy your meals.

Travertine floors throughout will keep your feet cool. The high-end, whisper quiet MITSUBISHI A/C will quietly take the edge off the peak afternoon heat during summer months. You may prefer to open the windows & slider door mornings & evenings. Ceiling fans in every room will circulate the fresh air.

The beautifully remodeled bathroom features a glass block wall & convenient WALK-IN SHOWER. We'll start you off with 3 rolls of TP & 2 bars of soap. Bring your favorite hair/body products with you, as well as laundry pods & dryer sheets to save money. HAIRDRYER provided.

Unwind on our NEW (June 2025) comfortable sofa while streaming favorite shows on the SmartTV. A new, comfortable KING BED beckons after a hard day's play - a tranquil, rejuvenating sleep & you'll be ready for another day's adventures! Start each morning with a cup of fresh brewed coffee on the patio (out by 7:00 am). Swim & SUP in our calm, serene waters in the mornings. Afternoons, get out the boogies when the trade winds come in. Evenings, catch a glorious, colorful sunset while you sip an adult beverage & grill dinner on one of two BBQs.

From our OCEANFRONT PATIO & POOL, you'll be just steps from one of Maui's best beaches, Sugar Beach - clean, sandy, unpopulated & stretching for miles in either direction. You'll find plenty shade under lawn & table umbrellas - perfect for reading that book you started on your flight over. Tommy Bahama BEACH CHAIRS & UMBRELLA, beach cooler & beach towels await you in the condo closet. We welcome you to take these with you when you go exploring Maui's many beautiful beaches.

You'll find boogie boards, pool noodles, sand toys & floaties for use ON PROPERTY only. Snorkel gear, boogies, SUPs and kayaks can be rented or purchased island-wide. Many companies deliver.

A short 5 MIN WALK down the beach you’ll find a Fresh Produce Farmer's Market, ABC Store, Bakery (try the malasadas!) & Shave Ice. Walk next door to Dina's Sandwitches, where you can get a fabulous island cocktail & tavern food after your long flight.

We are conveniently & centrally located on the island. Just 3 miles down the road from us is the start of Kihei Town with plenty of DINING, shopping & GROCERY store options. Ask our staff for advice on where to hike, eat and explore. We've all got our favorites!

The location was perfect, just 20 minutes from the airport, even closer to the restaurants in Kihei and Wailea, and still gave the laid back feel that you are away from the "bustle" of it all. The quiet ocean views were the perfect way to start and end each day. Check in/out was a breeze and the condo was well stocked with all the comforts of home! This was a great little corner of South/Central Maui that made exploring much of the island a breeze. Thank You Kihei Sands for a wonderful stay!!

We enjoy walking on the beach everyday, sunbathing, whale watching, swimming in the ocean and the pool, barbecuing watching the sunset every night while mingling with new guests and hanging out with several couples that come every year! Our hosts Connie, Patrick and Sarah did an awesome job communicating via email all the details of our reservations before we got there and accommodating all of the little things that we needed. They truly work hard to make everyone’s stay enjoyable. Our room was very clean as usual along with the area around the pool area and all the grounds were immaculate. We have already made our reservations for next year! Thank you Kihei Sands staff for another wonderful stay! Aloha

Reviewer Comments: Bob and I truly enjoyed our stay in Condo A7 at Kihei Sands! 😊 We liked the fact that Condo A7 is located on the ground floor and so close to the ocean! 🌊 It made it easy to run back and forth to the condo to retrieve the binoculars for whale-watching 🐋 or anything else we needed!The condo was very clean and decorated in a pretty Hawaiian 🌺 theme! We appreciated that the beach towels, beach chairs and other beach accessories were all provided. The kitchen was fully stocked and clean. One minor complaint was that there were so many non-microwaveable plates. The writing on the back of the plates was so small and faint that it was hard to tell if one could use them in a microwave. Especially when one is on vacation, it would be helpful to be able to grab any plate and be assured he/she could use it in a microwave oven.The outside patio area was kept very clean! We loved sitting on the chairs on the patio, drinking a cup of coffee ☕️ (or a glass of wine 🍷 at night) and watching the sun rise and set! 🌅 The staff were all very kind and helpful! The coin-operated laundry facilities were very clean as well. The hours of operation were from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to allow house-keeping the time to wash the towels and sheets in the morning. We would have liked the washers and driers to be available more hours each day. However, when I did ask for an exception one day, the office staff kindly opened the facilities for me.My husband and I truly loved our vacation in A7 at Kihei Sand and would love to stay there again! 😃 🏝️ ☀️ 🐋 🌺

We enjoyed meeting some other guests in the front community area while we ate breakfast or dinner or just enjoying the outdoors. It was very close to the beach and about a quarter mile walk from a farmer’s market, bakery and general ABC store. The condo was well maintained and the kitchen was well supplied with dishes and appliances. The manager and office staff were friendly. Yes, I would recommend this property to a friend or relative. The swimming pool was great for kids as well as adults.

A7 Not Quite Up to Par

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although still a recommend, there were some things of concern. Generally, the condo was less than clean. The floor was really dirty, evidenced by the first day we spilled some water in the kitchen and used a paper towel to wipe it up and it was black. Then we noticed that the entire floor was dirty. The cabinets near the handle pulls were grimy and obviously hadn't been wiped down regularly. Under the kitchen sink, where the trash can is was really dirty and smelled. Some of the plasticware was so old and worn that I couldn't tell if it was dirty or not and that didn't make me want to drink from it. The bed had only a sheet, no blanket other than the bedspread. And no blanket for the sofa bed.The closet was locked. Last time this is where we found chairs and beach accoutrements. There was very limited beach chairs under the stairs outside and when we took the only two, one day, once at the beach we found that one was broken and unusable.Finally, I have to say that Connie was less than friendly. We noticed it last time, but let it go. She had every chance to be kind and welcoming but was not. Upon our arrival at the office, she said nothing to make us feel welcome, and the same when we checked out. Honestly, I've felt more welcomed, thanked and appreciated by most McDonald drive through employees. Patrick was great. Always pleasant and courteous.

Fantastic Time st the Beach

My wife and I spent the second half of our honeymoon at Kihei Sands and had an amazing time. The location is a short drive into Kihei and it’s very close to some amazing snorkeling spots. We started every morning snorkeling at a different area, and it was so amazing. The condo itself is exactly like it looks, and it is really nice. We had a great time using the pool, enjoying the sunset with drinks, and walking on the perfect sand beach. I would recommend this to any couple who is looking for a laid back place to stay that is centrally located on Maui. The hosts were so nice and friendly - I really have nothing negative to say about our stay. Five star place for sure!

We were fortunate to be there when many of the owners were there and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to Melvin for the wonderful map and snorkeling location tips!! The condo was well stocked and Costco and the gas grills made it easy to prepare meals. The location was perfect with a great beach for walking, swimming and relaxing on the patio. Since the condo was close to everything, we took daily trips exploring the island and we were convinced this was the best location for us! We were pleased that beach towels were provided and were lucky to find beach chairs, boogie boards and pool noodles in the complex shared leftover bin. We had a fun filled week with the Road to Hanna, hiking both the rain forest and crater in Haleakala National Park, and snorkeling several beaches with our favorite being North Ka'anapali Beach. Truly "on the beach' Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I'd like to say this place was terrible so the next time we go it won't be booked, but this really was an amazing condo and location. The office staff was helpful and made themselves available, the condo was clean and air conditioned. This condo is literally steps away from the beach and its a long continuous beach that is perfect for evening walks. The condo is close to the famous Hawaiian ice store too.

We do get those terrible reviews once in a blue moon, and that's about the only thing that lets prospective visitors know that we don't write our own reviews! Be sure to book your next trip at least 6 months to a year before you come back - we are definitely the place our first-time guests want to come back to after spending time on the extremely crowded Ka'anapali coast on the West side. We can't wait to welcome you back!

Coffee every morning, a we’ll maintained patio, shade, palm trees, beach front, clean pool and a very well furnished and CLEAN unit to live in.

Kihei Sands Rental 2020

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As always, we really enjoy staying at Kihei Sands.Our only concern is with unit A7, is that it needs a more thorough cleaning. Examples would be....the front door area needs to be repainted, it looks grimy. The wainscotting in the unit needs to be washed, lots of dust on the top of it. In fact, I cleaned part of it near the headboard in the bedroom. The owner should know that the bathroom sink (bowl) is too big for the counter, no where to put things. Great location! We appreciate the friendly staff and their helpful attitude and professionalism.

We have already scheduled a deep cleaning of the condo - something that is done every six months. We have passed on your observations regarding the entryway needing some TLC, and the sink - while beautiful - not being conducive for normal washroom actions. The apartment - it was filled with all the tools that you need in order to feel home, feel that you need to buy just groceries and no furthermore. 3. Parking 4. We used all the amenities that this place has: laundry, Bbq and many more...really great!
