Lovely stay

This is our second stay here nothing has changed, nice place ideal location for other places in the area , very peaceful and quiet, welcome pack was enjoyable from local produce, very nice all round

Great Spot in Upper Largo

A lovely stay, all instructions very clear, good communication, easy access and lots of thougtful little extra's, including for our dog. Ideally placed for exploring Fife. We would happily return again.

A Lovely Little Cottage

Spent a very pleasant week in this lovely little cottage. Very well appointed kitchen, living accommodation more than adequate with sufficient seating and occasional tables. Log burner is a cosy feature but no provision of kindling or lighting materials means bringing your own, which isn't really practical; so more a decorative feature than a practical one. Dining area gives good views over fields and countryside. Bedroom comfortable and the Alexa was a very useful touch. Garden to the rear is spacious although October wasn't the best time to enjoy that facility. Upper Largo is a good base to explore the East Neuk with St Andrews only 10 miles away. Lower Largo is only a 20 minute walk and is a lovely little village with a rather nice cafe, The Aurie, although best to check opening times before committing.

Fantastic location and amenities

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at Altnagat. Simon our host and his wife couldn’t have done enough for us. They stay next door but they completely leave you be to enjoy your stay but are there if you need them. Extremely comfortable bed and fantastic secure garden for our 2 dogs who absolutely loved it. Log fire according to my other half is the easiest and most efficient log burner he has ever used. Lovely quiet location with a fantastic forest walk on the door step and also a 10 minute walk to the beach. Well equipped kitchen and lovely hot shower.

went the extra mile

A lovely property with newer appliances, ideally located for quick access to the beach, golf, restaurants/bars. The hosts bent over backwards to provide information we might want about the area and even loaned us their own pasta pot when we were cooking dinner for a crowd.
