Amazing view and location, cosy chalet

We really enjoyed our stay in Gryon as the location of the chalet is perfect for visiting our family and getting to and from the station. Very clean chalet, very well appointed. The shower downstairs is the one to use as it is full height. Sauna looks good but we never used it.

Mignon petit chalet

Chalet situé aux dans le vieux centre du village à proxomité des magasins et restaurant. Accès facile en train et bus vers le centre de ski plus haut. Le sauna et une valeur appreciè surtout après une journée de ski. Endroit très calme, il faut juste s'habituer auxcloches de l'eglise

Un très bon séjour

Je connais ce village depuis 40 ans et j’étais passé devant cette maison sans l’avoir remarqué ! La maison est très mignonne et très bien équipée. Le sauna est un vrai plus appréciable après une randonnée dans les plus belles des montagnes. La propriétaire est attentive même depuis l’Angleterre ! Je recommande sans hésitation.

Quaint, comfortable, character accommodation

The location to explore the mountain areas was great. The authentic Swiss chalet had definite character and was comfortable for my husband and me, although taller people do have to be mindful of beams and doorways. Communication and checkin/out were easily done and the sauna was a definite bonus.

Lovely ‘petit chalet’

The property is lovely and quaint. Set in a beautiful hill-side village with shops and excellent restaurants nearby, it provides all a couple could need. The garden was better than expected as it is fully enclosed and ideal for a dog. Spread over three floors it offers a beautiful sauna, a cosy living room and kitchen, and a very comfortable double bed on the top floor. If you don’t want to bend over in the bath on the top floor you can always use the shower in the sauna. The views from the balconies are spectacular and there’s enough space to eat outside and take it all in. Church bells and creaky floor boards add to the charm. :-) It is only a short walk to the train and this provides access to the lower valley (Bex) and the mountains. With their ’free pass’ (available from Barboleuse for about 5 franks per day) you gain access to excellent train, bus and cable car services covering Gryon-Villars-Diablerets. The pass is great value for money. We had a wonderful stay and Carol was a great host who responded well to our questions.

Schönes Haus, kleiner als erwartet

Wir hatten schöne Tage in dem Haus, die Umgebung ist super, die Lage auch, allerdings ist die Beschreibung etwas missverständlich. Es gibt nur ein Schlafzimmer. Wir konnten uns trotzdem arrangieren. Vermieterin war sehr entgegenkomend, wir hatten zu zweit gebucht und sind zu viert gekommen.

I am pleased our guests enjoyed their location and environment. Our description of the chalet shows that there is one large bedroom, and there is space on either side of the large double bed for additional mattresses suitable for young children. We always make guests fully aware of the sleeping arrangements in the description and confirm this prior to the guest's arrival. This guest was made aware, in messages, of the accommodation and the variables prior to arrival and we are sad the chalet did not meet his expectations on this point. We welcome families with younger children, but can only comfortably accommodate a maximum of 3 adults for a short stay It is a wonderful cosy chalet and an ideal place for a couple to enjoy this wonderful village, mountain scenery and air. We look forward to welcoming all our future guests. Carol

Petit Chalet für zwei

Das Chalet ist ideal für zwei Personen. Ein Berghütten-Gefühl ist garantiert. Die Küche ist einfach hat aber alles was man braucht. Von der Krups-Kapsel-Kaffeemaschine, Toster und Milchaufschäumer über das stylische eckige Geschirr. Das Wohnzimmer mit dem einladenden Sofa ist mega gemütlich. Im oberen Stock ist der Ausbau sehr kreativ. Mit der Badnische im Korridor welche eine Sitzdusche Lavabo und Waschmaschine hat. Dazu das separate WC im Kabäuschen. Das Schlafzimmer ist geräumig und hat gute Bettenqualität. Absolut das highlight ist die Sauna im Untergeschoss mit Dusche/WC Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
