Luxury in the Dordogne

Very very nice, alot bigger than we thought, feels homely and comfortable, has everything you need, kitchen well equipped, shower nice, lovely surroundings, would highly recommend staying there, hosts went above and beyond to welcome us and make our stay enjoyable, will definitely be going back.

What a great place.

Andrew was there to great us along with Mike, the mill was perfect so clean, it was wonderful. Location was very central to most of the things that we did. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would not hesitate to go back again. Thank you for a great experience.

Beautifully peaceful

Lovely quiet location, plenty of shade from the hot sun, quirky property, very clean and well furnished. Andrew and Mike are fantastically friendly and helpful.

Lovely surroundings and hosts. Nice and quiet nature spot with a lake and mostly shaded garden with a small swimmingpool. Loads of fish in the lake and different spots around the lake to sit, fish or just enjoy nature.Hosts are very friendly and will help you with whatever u want or need.Bedrooms are downstairs and lovely and cool.Kitchen has all the basics, and very good kitchenknives and pans.Plenty of room for a family of 4 or even 6 guests.Extra seating area outside the master bedroom with a small waterfall, that was once in use when the property was a watermill.We loved our stay!

Peace and quiet

Very comfortable house in a lovely spot (only slight difficulty is the spiral staircase - which could be tricky for some). Especially good if you like fishing with a beautiful lake right outside the front door. Surroundings are extremely quiet and peaceful with plenty of nice walks in the area. Host’s really nice and friendly and helpful. Would certainly go back.

Beautiful setting & Great Hosts

This is a really nice location for a family/friends stay in rural France. You can easily get to most of the local markets, attractions and towns. The house is really well appointed and has lots of character. If you like time by your own lake, fishing, and evenings sipping wine in a beautiful space then we'd highly recommend. The hosts Michael & Andrew are extremely welcoming and generous with there time and attention to make the stay as simple as possible for you. Recommended.

Relax and unwind

What an amazing, peacefull, beautiful place to spend a summer holiday. You can really relax and unwind, if you like fishing this is a great spot. The kids had an amazing time on the sup board in the lake or went in for a cooling down in the swimming pool. The house is charming and still have authentic elements with a modern touch. There are three large bedrooms with more than enough space. The owners are very kind and helpfull, they have given us many usefull tips and information of places to visit, thank you so much. We had one of our best summer holidays.

Découverte du Périgord Vert dans un lieu très calme, à l'intérieur d'une maison très agréable, dont la fraîcheur a été très appréciée par cet été caniculaire. Piscine hors sol dont l'eau était un peu fraîche mais compte tenu de la chaleur...Andrew et Mike discrets, disponibles et accueillants.Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce séjour entourés des paons et du chat de la maison.

Mi familia y yo lo hemos pasado genial durante las 2 semanas que estuvimos en la casa. El lugar es precioso y consigues desconectar de la vida de la ciudad. Disfrutamos mucho pescando.

Vive les vacances à Augignac

Si vous aimez le calme et la nature, vous serez heureux de séjourner chez Mike et Andrew. L'accueil et la gentillesse de nos hôtes ont embelli notre séjour à Augignac. Nous avons également apprécié le délicieux repas que Mike nous a préparé pour les 17 ans de notre fille. Franchement, c'était top. C'était une jolie parenthèse ... nous conservons l'adresse.

Cette location atypique saura séduire les amoureux de la nature et du calme. Andrew et Mike sont d'agréables hôtes discrets, mais disponibles. Nombreuses activités et randonnées en forêts aux alentours.

Urlaub in einer ehemaligen Mühle

In der ruhig an einem kleinen See gelegenen Mühle haben wir einen wunderschönen Sommerurlaub mit der Familie verbracht. Die Gastgeber bereiteten uns einen herzlichen Empfang und trugen neben dem herrlich individuell und gut ausgestatteten Haus zu einem angenehmen Aufenthalt bei.

très bon séjour familial

Merci à Mike & Andrew pour leur accueil chaleureux et raffiné. Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine en famille, au calme dans cette belle région. Amoureux de la pêche vous serez servi avec le bel étang privé en face de la maison. Mike propose de préparer des repas. A essayer !

Maison de charme

Excellent accueil de Mike et Andrew. Arrivés un peu tard le samedi soir, nous avons même eu droit à un excellent dîner préparé par Mike! Étang face à la maison (de l autre côté de la route), petite piscine hors sol, et énormément de charme en ces lieux. (Attention, escalier très etroit, raide et escarpé peu adapté aux tous petits)

Au calme et au frais dans un ancien moulin

Ancien moulin aménagé par les propriétaires, bordé par un ruisseau, un étang et une forêt qui ont apporté une fraîcheur très appréciée par ces temps de canicule. Vous pourrez peut être observer des chevreuils dans le jardin. Une petite piscine fera le bonheur des enfants et le bruit du ruisseau à proximité est très reposant. A distance raisonnable des commerces et de bcp de lieux à visiter. Bref nous avons passé une très bonne semaine, nous étions 6 adultes + 3 enfants en bas âge. Un grand merci à Mike et Andrew

Séjour au calme

Belle maison dans un endroit très isolé avec forêt et étang privé (usage privatif d'une barque !). Hôtes très agréable et disponible. E' revanche, la configuration de la maison n'était pas très pratique avec le salon à l'étage et la terrasse en contrebas, avec des escaliers très compliqués pour des enfants.
