Ennis, MT Vacation Home near Yellowstone and Fly Fishing on the Madison River

Cold Creek Cabin, LLC is a beautiful two-story cabin located approximately 11 miles south of Ennis, and just 5 minutes from the Madison River at Varney Bridge. Situated on 40 gorgeous acres, the cabin overlooks the Madison Valley with spectacular views of the Madison Range and nearby fly fishing on the Madison River.

The cabin sleeps 8-10 with 2 bedrooms upstairs, each with a queen bed, a recreation room downstairs with a log pole bunk bed that includes twin and full beds, and a 4th bedroom with two twin beds.

Relax on the large covered balcony and enjoy the abundant wildlife all around this very private property! Plenty of room to park your RV and drift boat. During the winter, take a snow mobile adventure in or around Yellowstone Park or hit the slopes at the Big Sky Ski Area 92 miles away.

Perfectly located, the cabin has plenty of privacy but is not too far from town. It is accessible year-round.

Upon arrival, you will access the property with a combination lock box on premises.

Great house with a gorgeous views of the Madison Valley. Ennis is a nice little town — good fishing, food, and atmosphere. The hosts are great and the house was clean and well appointed.

Great house and location with an amazing view. comfortable and clean with everything needed of a pleasant stay. A little fair from Lyons bridge, the primary put in for floating the Madison. Mostly due to the winding slow speed road from housing development to main road (42min).

Great spot

This cabin is exactly what you want when you think about a trip to Montana. Beautiful mountain views, simple elegance, and well outfitted. Day trips to Yellowstone and ghost towns are easy. Fishing and tubing outings nearby. This is a great setup.

Great location for the Madison and YNP

Brian and Kelly's property was an excellent location for our annual group fishing trip. The pictures of the property do not do the views justice. Gorgeous location with great access to the Madison, Ennis, and Yellowstone NP. Brian was very thorough with his directions and description of the property. Everything went off without a hitch. Thanks!

Ennis Adventure

This is the perfect getaway. The house is extremely clean and holds anything a guest would need. It is also very comfortable. The range of Mountain View’s from the windows and deck are spectacular. Ennis is a treat and has much to offer. Brian, the homeowner, is a gentleman and very accommodating. This place and owner does not disappoint.

We are a family of 5 with...

We are a family of 5 with children ages 14,10 and 8. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Clear Creek Cabin. The views are beautiful and the location is peaceful. The cabin was clean and we had everything we needed. It was like being at home only better! The town of Ennis is also very nice with a great place to eat - Bynees Sports Bar and Grill. Last, but not least, Brian and Kelly were extremely easy to do business with and we hope to return to the cabin in the future.

Breathtaking family vacation

This beautiful home was so much more than we expected! Waking up each morning to the breathtaking views, having coffee looking out over the property watching animals was so relaxing. This home had everything our family needed and more. Our first trip to Montana was an amazing experience and fly fishing in the Madison river was just awesome. Coming back to this home each evening was something we looked forward to, just peaceful. Will rent again and come back. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. We could not have had any better of a vacation anywhere else.

Like no place we've ever been before.

This property is just breath taking. There are no words or pictures that justify the beauty of this place. The cabin is much bigger than anticipated, and the surrounding mountains and views are one of a kind. We enjoyed the property, and were so sad when we had to leave. The property is a drive from the grocery store in town, but if you want a place to be able to sit, and relax, that is quiet, calm and magnificent, and if you enjoy a glorious sunrise this is the place to be If you are thinking about booking this place, don't think, just book it.

Montana Getaway!

Our stay at this Cabin was amazing from the incredible views to the feeling right at home here! We fished and floated the Madison River and fished at West Fork. Temperatures were so nice. We also went to Ennis and Virginia City to visit. Pizza and the Huckleberry ice cream in Virginia City over the top! 5 star recommendation!

The perfect and most relaxing family getaway!

Cold Creek Loop Cabin exceeded our expectations! The house itself was extremely clean, stocked with everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The property is located on a hill so the views were absolutely spectacular. It was fun spotting all of the antelope and deer walking near the property. During our stay we enjoyed exploring and shopping in the charming town of Ennis. We spent two days touring through gorgeous West Yellowstone which was spectacular (about a 70 min drive from the cabin) and I highly recommend! When we weren't out exploring all of the natural wonders that Montana has to offer, we really enjoyed our time just relaxing at the cabin hanging out on the deck and enjoying the beautiful scenery all around us. If you enjoy star gazing this is the property for you! We have never seen the stars like we did during our stay at this cabin, truly breathtaking. The owner was very accommodating making sure that we had directions and that we didn't have any issues checking in. Brian also followed up to make sure that we made it home safe (as we traveled far by car). It was a very smooth and pleasant process all the way around. We will definitely be back next year! Book your stay today, do not hesitate!!!

Beautiful views

We very much enjoyed staying at Cold Creek Cabin. It is a few minutes from Ennis but still centrally located to many areas and things that we wanted to do. Views are beautiful. Owner responds almost immediately. Cabin is nice and clean. We cooked in some and grilled some as well. Everything worked well, no issues. Fans in bedrooms were a plus. Bear cave was great area for the young adults in our group!

Beautiful!

I can't imagine a better place to stay. The cabin has a beautiful view of the Madison Range and the Madison River Valley. It is a short drive to Ennis and a short cut across the bridge to head up the river (the bridge is being rebuilt and will be open in December). The inside of the cabin is very nicely done and very comfortable. Inside and outside this place is wonderful.

Perfect Getaway

We were thrilled to find this well-appointed and comfortable home! Expansive and mesmerizing views. Solitude. Nature at your doorstep. TV/Wifi (if you Think you still need it after hanging out on the porch for a while). Groceries/gas nearby in town (though you may not want to leave). We would stay again without hesitation!

Cozy cabin off the beaten path

Excellent cabin, lots of space, cozy, well decorated and just as advertised. We enjoyed the cabin and its “out west” feel. Cabin is an hour plus away from Yellowstone which is its only drawback. We were hoping to travel to Yellowstone quicker. However, we found other things to do nearby. Ennis is a quaint western town and we would do the same cabin arrangement again. Quiet setting in a fly fishing community!

Cold Creek Cabin, LLC is a unique property in a very scenic and private location. The views are outstanding from every window. Cold Creek Pond is a seasonal pond with a creek adjacent to the property and the perfect daily migration route for deer and antelope. We are located near the Ennis Fish Hatchery and it's a short drive to Ennis.

Perfect location to explore southwest Montana.
