The setup was incredibly welcoming and homey. The downstairs was full of character and the room was comfortable with a beautiful, and updated, bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and highly recommend.
This place was sooo charming. Very well kept, clean and beautifully furnished. Bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. Keep up the wonderful work here!
The vineyard mansion was exactly as advertised. Walking through the home felt like going back in time. Everywhere you looked was something beautiful. The bed was comfortable, and the room spacious. We had a lot of fun shooting pool and hanging out. Would definitely stay again.
If you want to see old St. Joe and be able to walk around and look at mansions, this is a great location. The building is a great example of how things were built back then, and we don't see any of that nowadays.
Once again, a lovely stay in a classic Victorian style home fantastically appointed, well accommodated with amenities and a well stocked kitchen. Owner and manager alike are very communicative (though we had no needs this visit). Check in and out extremely smooth.
The Vineyard Mansion is beautiful!. The Lincoln room is spacious. Was very curious how breakfast was going to be handled... It worked very well. The frig and freezer is well stocked as well as the non- refrigerated items. Plenty of variety. It was nice to chat with the other guests. Will stay again if we're ever in the area.
We’ve stayed here twice now. The first stay was a little cleaner last October and with it being a different season of the year it was already warm then. When we arrived this time the entire room breaker was switched and it was super muggy in our room. After a short time we were able to contact the on site contact and she got us rocking. The facility itself is unique and we’d stay again. Only complaints was it appears to been a rush cleaning and a deep one in quite a while.
Very nice place to stay, renovation not complete but comfortable. Lincoln bedroom is roomy with excellent king matresss. Could use a small fridge. We had a little trouble with the front door entry code but it was quickly resolved.
Beautiful, restoration-in-progress building & area.
The Vineyard and several of the other buildings on Museum Hill are in the process of being restored. So if you're looking for manicured perfection all around, go elsewhere. For us, this was a beautiful, relaxing location & stay. Yes, restoration is going on around you, but even that was fun to see.
In addition to the room - we stayed in the Lincoln room - there are lots of great nook and crannies in the common areas one could settle down in to do creative work, if that's what you're looking for - old, large comfortable chairs, garden furniture, porch, seats,...
The kitchen was also quaint, fun, and yet practical - simple food but a nice selection (great fruit!). It was a bit unclear which food was for guest use or not, especially in the refrigerator, but other than relying on guests to label things they bring I'm not sure what could be done about that.
Beautiful spot; highly recommend.
My husband and I love touring log homes so it was really neat to sleep in an old home like this. Had everything we needed to feel right at home. Would stay here again.

We love Victorian homes, have restored 2 myself. They are in restoration phase, still working on it. Doing a pretty nice job.
Was heartsick at the neighborhood. Not the Vineyard Mansions issue, but all the homes that are falling apart, boarded up, wasting away it just hurts to see.

Interesting spot.
Clearly a work in progress, but a fun experience. Our hostess was very friendly and accommodating. Fresh cinnamon rolls right out of the oven for breakfast. Would stay again.
