Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing and did not reflect the "newly renovated" property advertised. The condition of the house suggested either the renovation had not been completed recently or the workmanship was poor. There were several maintenance and safety issues. One shower leaked through a ceiling light fitting below, which was a serious concern. When we reported it, the owner immediately said they would send a plumber without us even saying which shower it was, suggesting this was a known issue that had not been properly resolved. Another shower repeatedly tripped the electrics, and all the electric showers were old, with loose shower heads and constantly changing pressure and temperature whenever another tap was used.Cleanliness was also disappointing. Many kitchen utensils and crockery were dirty, and there were ants in the kitchen and dining room every day. Outside, the courtyard was untidy with broken mops and brooms, and a waste pipe came loose, leaving dirty, foul-smelling water.Other issues included a back door that didn't close properly, only one working remote for six TVs, and parking that was much more difficult than the listing suggested.Overall, the number of maintenance, cleanliness and safety issues meant the property fell well below expectations.

Thank you for your comments Denise. I am disappointed and surprised at your comments, when you reported the issue with the shower I asked which room it was and was told the leak was in the dining room so we then knew which shower to investigate, myself and the plumber attended and the issue was rectified straight away. We have had no reports of any of the shower tripping electric and have tested the showers and have no problems. The kitchen utensils are used constantly and the house has a dishwasher so I am surprised they are dirty, I will look into this. The remote controls all work fine, they had been switched around rooms though, maybe children playing games?
The courtyard you appeared to be using fine as I noted you had taken down the washing line and set up your own BBQ out there, surely you wouldn’t feel this appropriate if the courtyward was in the condition you were claiming?
It appeared that the house was overcrowded when you came to stay, when we attended there was an incredible amount of belongings, food and clutter, and the ants may have occurred due to the amount of washing up and waste food you had left out on the sides and tables during your stay, really dirty. The cleaners alerted me to this when you checked out as well.
If you had of reported any of the issues to me at the time of your stay we would have attended and rectified immediately.
An amazing location for a big family get together. The house has everything you need and more. We would all definitely stay here again. Amazing value for money
A brilliantly situated property that is perfect for a family holiday. Although it nominally sleeps 13 I don't recommend trying to fit that number in - as the arrangement of the beds (twins/singles) is not ideal. Unless all your family members are very close and happy to share!
Comfortable property well located near beach and harbour. very well equipped, courtyard only suitable for storage. Drainage issue promptly sorted by owners. Would definitely recommend for large families or groups.
Everything on your doorstep! Nice small town, loads to do. Only down side is parking was a little tricky (extra £10 per car per day) needing the Just Park app.
Couldn’t fault the position. One minute walk to beach or harbour. All rooms great. Was disappointed with the ‘sunny courtyard’ ! Was not a usable space accept for storage and bins and hanging washing.
We stayed here for a weekend away with a couple of other families, and everybody had a lovely time. As it is a townhouse, it isn't huge but we still had enough space to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The location is great - right by the sea, and it was easy to find. Parking is an on-street only affair but we did manage to find spaces. One of the showers seemed to be blocked, but the owner was extremely responsive to this and the other queries I sent their way while we were staying there. Overall we had a very nice time.
