The house is comfortably furnished offering two, double bedrooms, one with king bed and one with twin beds and family bathroom with shower over bath on the first floor. The open plan kitchen / diner / lounge has ample seating with French doors leading to the enclosed garden with outside seating. The house also benefits from driveway to the rear.
The house is situated near to Red Funnel car ferry terminal and a few minutes' walk to local amenities including cafes, restaurants, pub and supermarkets. East Cowes is also famous for Osborne House, home of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Stroll along her beach and enjoy the walled garden and Swiss Cottage. It's a wonderful spot for families or just to wander through on your own. There are cultural museums, events and galleries to enjoy on both sides of the Medina and you'll notice the influence of Prince Albert's ornate designs in the architecture of many houses and buildings.
The nearby chain ferry takes you to the world renowned Cowes Yacht Haven where many yachting activities can be viewed. Cowes has fascinating independent shops, galleries, pubs with live music, restaurants and cafes overlooking the Solent and marinas.
