Holiday in the heart of Taormina

Delicious three-room newly renovated in the historic center of Taormina to two hundred meters from Corso Umberto near Porta Catania: the main street of Taormina, full of shops, restaurants, bars and cultural attractions. The apartment is on the first floor. It has been finely restored and all the furniture and appliances have been purchased new. The apartment consists of a kitchen, where there is a sofa bed, the kitchen balcony overlooking Via Paternò Biscari (very quiet residential area, but very close to Corso Umberto). Then there are: a bedroom with double bed and sofa bed which come with balconies overlooking an internal garden, a toilet and a storage room. All the amenities are available: satellite TV, air conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher, methane gas heater, etc ... It can comfortably hold up to a maximum of five people.

Bedt Ever

We have traveled extensively in Europe anf must say the Europeans have hospitality down pat. Our stay in beautiful Taprmina was even better because of Simone and Clay. They went out of their way to male sure we were comfortable, swapping (i think) rooms aound so that i, who uses oxygen didn't have to climb anymore stairs than necessary. The gact that the room was spotless and comfortable goes wothout saying

Not really a 2 bedroom apartment

2nd bedroom is sofa bed in kitchen. Good location nice views from balcony. Street parking challenging. Shower ran hot and cold. Not all linen provided on arrival but owner sorted as soon as she was aware. Had to dispose of previous occupiers rubbish.

Please read before renting

This unit is in a perfect location, clean , modern with comfortable bed. All aspects of communication with owner were good and most important after a day of travel keys were easy to access. Two days before we were to arrive the host used a flimsy excuse to ask for 40 euros more upon questioning she then admitted she just wanted 40 dollars more , we agreed but asked to be let in around 11 am. Fair trade. The unit does not have two bedrooms as pictures lead you to believe ,drawing of unit shows actual layout. Host not lying but using a visual deception. We had a cold front come thru needed to turn on heat but the main unit was inoperative and with the setting it was at 30 degrees ,last guest had same issue ,no problem turned oven on and left door open .Burners on stove would not self light no problem bought lighter. Wanting a home cooked meal and wanting to use stove only to find only a wire rack no pans nothing to cook with. And now comes shower time no hot water you only have enough for a small sink of dishes. Other than the issues we had the host has a nice modern and comfortable place very well situated. Ps I asked for my 40 euros back but the host never responded

Le plus intéressant: la situation de l'appartement. Près de tout mais très calme. Ce qui m'a déplu: lit dans la cuisine. Douche froide à tous les jours. Gestion des déchets. Hôte pas là pour nous accueillir.

L’appartement est plutôt sympa, malgré quelques petits bémols.

Un joli petit appartement, très bien situé à 10 mn à pied du centre ville, plutôt calme, s’il n’y avait pas un immeuble en travaux juste en face. Heureusement nous y étions le weekend et n’avons pas été trop dérangé. Nous regrettons de n’avoir eu aucun contact avec les propriétaires qui du coup ne nous ont donné aucun conseil sur la ville, ses points d’intertets, ses restaurants... pas même une carte à disposition pour être guidé à notre arrivée. Pour finir, a noter un manque de confort avec une literie et des draps qui mériteraient d’être remplacés par du neuf pour passer de meilleures nuits et un système d’arrivée d’eau à revoir pour éviter la douche écossaise!!! Nous avons cependant passé un très bon séjour à Taormina qui est une ville magnifique et incontournable en Sicile.

Cozy apartment in the center of Taormina

The apartment is 3 minutes walk from Corso Umberto. It is cozy and clean. Somewhat disturbed by the fact that you could hear the neighbors from above the bedroom. Lory quickly answered all our questions and was very helpful for us.

Nettes sauberes Apartment zentraler Lage in Taormina! Der Vermieter (Lory's Mann) hat sich leider nie sehen lassen. Das Appartment war auch nicht das, was wir in Form von Bildern im Portal gebucht hatten, war aber trotzdem sehr schön! Parkplatz, nur für Anwohner, aber keine Anzeige/Multa! Wlan 5€, Bettwäsche und Hadtücher mit 7€ pro Person extra.
