A great beautifully located getaway . Stunning surroundings Great local walks and pubs . We BBQ’d the first night and relaxed with wine and beers . Slept like a log . Lovely local eggs and produce and a nice Prosecco welcome and fruits and chocolates .

A perfect place for a quiet retreat.
A perfect place for a quiet retreat. The lodge had everything you might need and the grounds were tranquil and inviting. We had such a warm welcome and loved seeing the hens and Sanna not only brought over some freshly baked sour dough bread but brought a little chick that had been born that morning for us to see. We spent a delightful evening sitting by the lake watching out for the kingfisher. Thank you.
Thank you so much Sanne for being such an awesome host. Your attention to detail was fabulous. Your 'welcome' cake went down so well amongst other goodies. As for the Cottage, my stay was just so comfortable and the surroundings were so peaceful and tranquil. My highlight was spending time by the Lake, seeing those beautiful waterlillies. I highly recommend this gem of a place. Such a shame to leave but will definitely be back.
