Lots of space for the extended family.Kitchen had lots of space and we'll equipped for the large group.Hot tub was a definite bonus. Two of the bedrooms could be problematic for people with mobility issues due to steps and a very low beam, but for kids were greatBeautiful views, tranquil setting, would definitely go to again.

Being an old house, it has its quirky low beams upstairs but downstairs is incredibly spaceous for everyone to gather in the kitchen.
We are so pleased you all had a great time and thank you for leaving the house so tidy and clean; we really appreciate how much you respected the house.

Booked this property to celebrate a weekend away with some friends for a 40th birthday. It’s the second time I’ve stayed here and it certainly won’t be the last. The house was perfect for what we needed and felt like we were on a countryside Retreat. Lucy and her partner were the perfect hosts, answering any questions that we had, giving us flexible check in/out times and also being very understanding when accidentally left a gate open, allowing the neighbours horses to pay us a visit. Thank you for a fantastic stay

Lovely property - meet up with old uni mates for the weekend. Perfect place to sit and eat, drink and laughWe had fabulous weather which always helps - spent all sat afternoon sitting on patio, using the lovely hot tub, cooking on the bbq then when got dark and colder we all sat around the fire pit looking at stars while singing/ chatting / drinking for the evening. In middle of nowhere ( excellent walks nearby) so no need to worry about making noise. Well equipped place, comfy bedsWould definitely recommend for meeting up with friends.

Lovely farmhouse -Kitchen the hub- well renovated outside hot tub included. My family did enjoy the house and somewhat steep surrouning lands40 min walk back from Bringsty Common was fun for some !Very private indeed within old orchards and farmlands accessed by a small lane/ driveway. We were a family 8 adults and 4 children and we found the property so spacious for us all. A large kitchen with 2 tables enabled us to all eat together with plenty of space. The bedrooms were huge with comfortable beds and bedding. The outside terrace was amazing with plenty of outdoor furniture, bbq and hot tub but above all wonderful views. The whole house was spotless. Lucy was such a good host and any queries were dealt with immediately. The children and indeed the adults loved the horses coming to see us each morning and walking through the cows down the lane. We would definetly return.

This property is a truly unique gem, it is full of character and is a fantastic base for an extended family holiday. It is set in beautiful quiet rolling countryside and has everything you need for a slower pace holiday. We loved the hot tub and the extensive garden area was great for the little ones and our dogs to play freely. The house had comfortable beds and was fairly cool even though we were in a 35 degree heatwave! A great find!

We really enjoyed our stay. The children loved the freedom and space to run.Only thing we commented on between was the lack of any coat hooks downstairs.Apart from that, excellent.

A perfect week away in such a lovely place to stay! Clean, warm, well equipped holiday let that perfectly suited the requirements of our party. The location was good for visiting lots of national trust properties and surrounded by lovely places to walk and explore. The landlady was very welcoming and helpful. We hope to visit again sometime.
