About this property

Apartment Pré Saint Didier for rent / 6 - 8 people

The house, a typical mountain home, is large and spacious and well divided. , It provides a laundry and storage skis, boots, bicycles, outdoor smoking area, 1 double bedroom with bathroom, a master bedroom with adjacent bathroom, two bedrooms with two beds each staggered, wide and bright living area and the kitchen totally equipped (microwave, oven, freezer, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and blender).
The house, as it is structured, it is particularly suited to be shared between two families or more people, as the two sleeping areas, are interspersed by day placed at the center of your area. Our host is very gracious and described accurately the amenities of the apartment. It’s centrally located in driving distance of Courmayeur and Aosta Valley. This is one of the best apartments I’ve stayed in the EU. Kitchen has great selection of cookware and plenty of tableware. It was great not having to wash dishes by hand all of the time and instead running a full dishwasher. Also, large enough to give everyone a sense of privacy.

Cozy and quaint

We loved the home and found it very relaxing. We took a beautiful hike to the falls behind the town near the spa. The hike took about 35 minutes uphill to arrive at a magnificent lookout.. The only caveat is that we would have liked if Pre Saint Didier was closer to Courmayeur. It is a 6 minute car away.

a spacious house in a small, welcoming village a few miles from Courmayeur

First, we would emphasize that your potential host, Tina Macri, is really nice and helpful. She is usually in town and available if something goes wrong. The kitchen is pretty well equipped, so yuo can cook at home. Furnishings are rustic, which is appropriate for a ski town. You cannot park right at the house, but we always found parking in a free lot about 100 meters away. Public transportation is available to Courmayeur if needed. On the downside, potential guests should be aware that the upstairs bathroom has a "low bridge", so bumping a head is a possibility unless you are careful. Also, two of the bedrooms--those with bunk beds, are pretty small, but then again kids would probably not mind that. We also could not find any English language programs on TV. All in all, we would recommend Tina's house and would happily stay there again.

What an absolutely amazing find. Communication with Tina from start to finish was fantastic. Very polite, happy, full of knowledge and very quick to respond to any question asked. She even turned up with cakes for my son's birthday as a gift. The chalet itself was beautiful, spotlessley clean, everything you could need with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Basement level was a heated private ski locker room with washing machine. First floor was a large double debroom, a bunk room and a family bathroom with bath and shower. Second floor was a beautiful comfy living room with adjacent open plan kitchen and dining room plus large TV with Prime.Fourth Mezzanine floor had a second large double bedroom with on suite bathroom and separate bunk room.Yes it's a four storey house with beautiful alpine wood chalet feel on the top two floors. Mountain views out of many windows.Pre Saint Didier has everything you need with wonderful pizza restaurants, bakers, shop etc with beautiful alpine charm and stunning views. The house itself is down a lovely arched entrance passageway that opens up to the sky.As for location. 5km from Cormeyaur, 10km from La Thuile and 30km from Pila ski resorts. Safe free parking is available just 50m from the chalet so a wonderful base from which to explore the area and ski terrain. Just 15 minutes the other side of the Mont Blanc Tunnel.Would we return? Most definitely. Probably the best ski chalet we have ever had over many years.

Nice appartment with value for money - very friendly host

Very fair cost/benefit-ratio. Comfortable size and equipment of rooms. The style of the house is very origin and fits very much to a holiday trip into Aosta valley. If something is missing, Tina as very friendly host, will surely take care. The real star is the fantastic Mont Blanc scenery, which can be perfectly enjoyed from Pré Saint Didier, a small village with its own charme.

Lovely apartment in a stunning setting

Tina was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The apartment was full of character, situated in a quiet area. It was immaculately clean and well-equipped - perfect for our family stay in July. The day spent on the Skyway cable car was spectacular and a hit with everyone. The waterfalls above La Thuile are well worth the climb. We also walked in the Val Ferret and Val Veny. Col du Petit Saint Bernard is worth the trip and the Passerella Panoramica is a 40 minute walk from the apartment providing beautiful views across the valley towards Courmayeur and the Mont Blanc Massif. This is a beautiful area. We would definitely stay again - thank you so much, Tina.

Superb apartment for our recent dads' ski holiday

The apartment was the perfect base for our recent ski holiday. It has a comfortable and spacious living and dining area and a well-appointed kitchen. The 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are ideal for two families of four or eight singles in our case. The separate ski and boot room was a useful feature and free parking was available nearby. The town itself is pretty, has shops, bars and restaurants and is very convenient for the ski resorts of Courmayeur and La Thuile. The owner, Tina, is extremely helpful and friendly. We intend to return!

Meravigliosa!!!
