Spacious and well equipped, great base to explore.
We really loved Slovenia as a place to visit. Very easy to get around, friendly people who all speak great English. Food and drink reasonably priced compared to Croatia/Italy. The house is very clean and spacious with lots of outside patio space, a bbq, above ground pool (unheated but refreshing). Big bathrooms and dining, living space. Unfortunately, we arrived 4 days after the terrible floods that hit Slovenia 4th August 2023 so were not able to use the camp site facilities that are right next to the house. We did go up to Golte ski station which was interesting and had some great walks. You are 1 hour from the capital which is worth a visit. We did not do much research on where we could visit around the area and the house did not have much information about this (could be added?). But some local sites were off limits due to road closures. So recommend doing some research on local sites before you go.
