About this property
Norfolk House - Stamford
Summary:
Norfolk House is a beautiful, newly refurbished 3 bed Victorian home in the Georgian town of Stamford. An excellent, quiet location, just 5 mins walk from the town centre and with off-road parking for 2 cars.
Burghley House and the Stamford Schools are a short drive away and many other local amenities are all close by.
The Space:
Stamford is a stunning place to visit. The quaint, narrow alleyways and hidden courtyards are home to a variety of speciality shops, fine jewellers and designer boutiques and cosy cafes whilst the High Street has a great choice of independent and recognised retailers. All nestled within the gorgeous stone architecture (including medieval churches). There is an endearingly warm local energy here. It’s a bit of a gem!
If you’re into antiques or art there’s a great ever-increasing selection to keep you occupied. If you’re lucky enough to be in Stamford on a Friday why not take a five minute walk through the park to the buzzing local market where you’ll find a huge variety of stalls from fantastic street food to homewares and speciality foods.
The property comprises of an open dining / living room. The dining area looks out onto the courtyard garden and leads into the cosy lounge area. The perfect space to relax, read a book or catch up on your favourite tv programs. The modern breakfast kitchen is equipped with everything you need: premium quality oven, large hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a little breakfast nook for you to enjoy a morning coffee.
Through the kitchen there is also further cosy sitting room / office with a TV. This space is flexible and can also be used as a bedroom, if preferred. We can adjust the space according to your needs.
Upstairs there are three luxury bedrooms, 1x king sized bed, 1x double bed and 1 single bed all with premium mattresses for a great nights sleep. The bathroom has a Mira shower and bath.
Wifi is available throughout the house making this a great base for anyone needing to do a little work during their stay. The wired broadband available in the office is superfast.
The courtyard garden has a bistro table and chairs for you enjoy alfresco dinners or drinks under the stars.
