We had a great stay. The house was perfect for what we needed with the animals. The fenced yard is large and plenty of room. Th house was clean and we enjoyed out stay. Will be back because it works for us and being able to be close to family in the area.

Thank you for being wonderful guests and I appreciate your review. I'm glad you all were comfortable and enjoyed the country while being close to the city. I look forward to having you as our guests again.
My wife and I were going to be in the Raleigh area to spend time visiting with friends. The bungalow was in the perfect location for us to accommodate our needs. It’s a great location in the country, yet a short drive to Raleigh, Cary, Clayton, Smithfield, Angier, Garner, Holly Springs, etc. Cosy and comfortable.

Great Location, Excellent Hosts, Sweet Little Bungalow!
This is a great setup if you are traveling with dogs. Plenty of room for a couple of people and a fenced yard to keep pets safe. Rural feel but very close to the city for shopping, dining, and more. We have stayed here several times and always have a wonderful experience. Thank you!

About the host
Hosted by Dr. Pam Page Carpenter
I am a native of Garner, NC. Garner has the feel of a small town, with great communities and people (Garner-known for Scotty McCreery) yet close to universities and the city. It's the best of both worlds. My Dad advocated for saving green space and farms and he purchased this land to save it from future development.
My husband Don and I look forward to being your hosts for your stay and want to ensure you enjoy your visit. We created this dog-friendly space since we travel with our dogs and always look for homes with a fenced in yard, safe community, and comfort.
Why they chose this property
The majority of this land was where Black Angus cows were raised and roamed the acres of pasture. The back section of the community next door is where tobacco was raised as part of the Rand farm. This was a large working farm back in its day.
What makes this property unique
Eco-friendly with bamboo floors, no VOC paint, raised dog beds and bowls await your four-legged family members. New appliances-washer/dryer, refrigerator, stove/oven Dog-friendly with fully fenced in yard Rural setting yet close to small towns (Garner, Clayton, Fuquay) and downtown Raleigh Eleven (11) miles to NC State Close to restaurants, shopping, and dog friendly places Lake Benson Park is a short drive from the bungalow for your four legged family members and you to explore There's always something to do whether it's kayaking on the lake or down the river, hiking, festivals, exploring historic sites, brewery and winery tours-this area has an abundance of things to do and see.
