A Truly Special Family Getaway

We had a wonderful family holiday at Villa Casanova. It is a truly unique place, surrounded by nature, with an incredible sunset and an amazing sense of peace and privacy. The children absolutely loved it. There is so much space for them to run around and play, and the swimming pool was excellent — perfect for relaxing and enjoying time together as a family. A special mention must go to Anabela, whose kindness and attention to detail made such a difference. She did everything she could to make our stay truly special and made us feel incredibly welcome. We also loved the little touches, especially the wonderful tomatoes, which ended up making the most incredible tomato rice, and the welcome cake, which was absolutely delicious! It was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. We would definitely come back, without a doubt! 14/09/26

We had a great stay, would love to come back again. The place is very private, we enjoyed the sheep around us. It is also close to the beach and surfing schools. Place has everything you need and the host is very responsive and kind. Highly recommend. 01/11/25

This place is amazing

This place is amazing. The space is huge and there is access to two houses and a pool giving familieslarge groups lots of space. The house is set up for hosting large groups with cooking facilities, bbqs and lots of outdoors dining space including use of a vegetable garden. Lots of choice in stunning beaches nearby ~20 mins drive. We surfed and visited several nice beach clubs just outside Melides and further south. Highly recommend this place! 09/04/24

Everything was great

Everything was great. The House is beautiful and feels like being on a ranch. The kitchen is well equipped and we had some good barbecues in the outside area which was really nice. The pool could use some umbrellas to provide shadows to be able to enjoy the pool area more. But despite this, we were overall very happy to be there and can only recommend, especially if you’re looking to spend time with a big familygroup of friends it’s the perfect place to be. 15/06/24

Awesome Villa in the Algarve

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa in the Algarve. The property is exceptionally well equipped and perfectly suited for large groups. One of its greatest features is the spacious common area, complete with seating and a private kitchen, which makes it easy to spend time together and enjoy meals and social gatherings as a group. The sunsets from the swimming pool are simply breathtaking, offering spectacular views every evening. The surrounding landscape is outstanding and provides a unique and peaceful atmosphere that is hard to match. What truly makes this place special, however, is the owner, Anabela. She is incredibly kind, attentive, and always available to help with anything that might be needed. Her hospitality made us feel welcome from the very first moment. We were a group of 20 people and enjoyed an unforgettable stay in a truly unique setting. Despite the tranquility of the location, the villa is conveniently situated only 25 minutes from the beach, making it the perfect combination of relaxation and accessibility. We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a memorable experience in the Algarve. We would love to come back! While our overall experience was excellent, there are a few areas where the property could be improved. Some of the beds had spring mattresses that were not particularly comfortable, and the pillows were generally quite uncomfortable as well. This is probably the aspect of the villa with the greatest room for improvement. A smaller issue was the ping-pong table, which looked a bit old and worn and could benefit from some maintenance or replacement. Other than these minor points, everything was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back without hesitation. 29/08/26

Beautiful villa in Portugal

Absolutely amazing stay. Villa is clean and very well stocked. Kitchen is highly functional and had everything we needed. Linens and bathrooms were spotless. We had both properties and comfortably slept 13 people aged 8 to 84. Outdoor space is wonderful for family eating. Pool is not huge but comfortable for four or five people at once. Lots of loungers to relax in. Location is very quiet and quite remote. Amazing stars and sunsets! Vegetable gardens on the property, the owner was very generous and we had tomatoes, onions, zucchini from the ground to the table. Two mins from highway makes it super convenient. Supermarkets 10mins away. Incredible beaches 20/30 mins away. Drive from Lisbon was easy and about an hour and twenty mins. Property managers were amazing, responsive, kind and helpful with advice on places to go (thanks Carlos and Rafael!!) Owner is lovely and brought us homemade cake one night. We loved our stay and would be delighted to return. Many thanks from all of us.

Estadia maravilhosa

A receção calorosa da Anabela, proprietária, faz com que directamente nos sintamos bem-vindos e em casa. Tanto a casa como todo o espaço é lindo, toques modernos e tradicionais foram conjugados com extremo bom gosto mas também com sentido prático para o alojamento de grupos maiores. A casa e o terreno oferecem bastante espaço e conforto para que todos possam estar ou juntos ou até separados com a devida privacidade e com o por vezes necessário "me time" A casa é localizada num espaço mágico, privado e sossegado com vistas para as bonitas paisagens Alentejanas, e ao mesmo tempo perto de Melides, Grândola, praia, Tróia, Safari parque e parque temático BlackPig e outros.... Ou seja, perfeito para se passar um bom tempo em família e criar memórias inesquecíveis. Recomendo a qualquer família e de certo que voltarei 12/04/26 Na nossa opinião, nada.

A casa é simplesmente incrível — espaçosa, muito bem equipada e impecavelmente limpa. As crianças adoraram os espaços amplos e seguros, e os adultos puderam realmente relaxar e desfrutar. A localização é excelente, tranquila e ao mesmo tempo próxima de tudo o que precisámos. A comunicação com os anfitriões foi sempre rápida, simpática e eficiente. Sentimo-nos verdadeiramente bem-vindos. Recomendo vivamente esta propriedade a qualquer grupo ou família que queira criar memórias especiais. Esperamos voltar em breve! 05/10/25

Simpatia, acolhimento e qualidade

A Villa Casanova superou todas as expectativas que tínhamos: o alojamento é ainda mais bonito ao vivo, bastante limpo e organizado, com tudo o que é preciso. O bar foi ponto de encontro para toda a família e o ping-pong e matrecos agradaram a miúdos e graúdos. A padeira passa todos os dias de manhã com pão fresquinho, bolos e pão com chouriço incrível. Não podemos deixar de agradecer à proprietária, Dona Anabela, pela sua simpatia e amabilidade - esteve sempre disponível para nos ajudar durante a nossa estadia e deu-nos recomendações excelentes. Nunca fomos tão bem recebidos, é de louvar o seu empenho e vontade de acolher bem todos os hóspedes, procurando sempre melhorar. Tivemos muito gosto em passar um pouco do nosso tempo à conversa com ela e o seu marido sobre as suas e as nossas vivências. Foram certamente umas férias memoráveis. 16/08/25

Um oásis para descansar e usufruir da calma

A decoração é acolhedora, o espaço é muito agradável e bonito, tudo muito confortável. O telheiro é a cereja no topo do bolo, passámos lá muito tempo à conversa e a cozinhar e comer. Os banhos tinham pouca pressão e era difícil controlar a temperatura em alguns deles.

Surpreendente o espaço

Surpreendente o espaço. Fantástico para um fim de semana prolongado maravilhoso com a família. Todos fizeram o que quiseram e gostam caminhadas, corridas, piscina que deu excelentes brincadeiras.
