Holiday Apartment Gisiboden – Your Retreat in the Black Forest

The 42 m² Holiday Apartment Gisiboden offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday in the Black Forest. It features one bedroom, a combined living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette with oven, a bathroom with shower and WC, and a balcony with a beautiful view of the surrounding forest.

The cozy apartment is located on the second floor of our house. Due to the hillside location (built into the rock), this corresponds to the fourth level, accessible via the staircase. The comfortable corner sofa is perfect for relaxing and also provides an additional sleeping option for one more person.

For even more relaxation, additional amenities are available in the house: Enjoy soothing warmth in our rock sauna (for a fee) or indulge yourself with a Reiki treatment (also for a fee). Additionally, you will find a lovingly designed space where drinks and specialities from the Black Forest are available for sale. Here, you will also find coffee machines, books, games, and irons available for free rental.

Enjoy the fresh mountain air, the healing climate, and the peaceful nature of the Black Forest – perfect for hiking, cycling, or simply unwinding.

The climatic health resort Schönwald, with its location at an altitude of 1000 meters, is an ideal starting point for numerous activities in nature for people of all ages.

From here you can start your hikes or bike tours on the very well signposted trails.

In winter you can go cross-country skiing or skating on one of the many trails in the immediate vicinity of our house. Or you can explore the nature with snowshoes. Directly across from our apartment house is the Dobel ski lift with ski school and rental. Schönwald is considered in the region as one of the snow-safe places.

In addition, you can expect a wide range of leisure activities in Schönwald and the surrounding area: such as the Triberg Waterfalls, the German Clock Museum, Galaxy Slide Paradise and much more.

Two small supermarkets, butcher's store, bakery, beverage store, greengrocer's store and farms with direct marketing are within walking distance. And if you don't want to cook yourself, you can choose from a variety of restaurants.
