Mississippi River Shore - Sunset and Fisherman's Delight on the Water
We are on The Mighty Mississippi River. Your front yard and stone throw to the river. You can sit in your lawn chair under the shade tree, or walk out onto our shoreline ledge or dock and enjoy your morning brew. In the evening, you can sit and relax as you grill your dinner, enjoying the breathtaking sunset and barge traffic. Eagles are visitors to the area, as are Great Blue Herons, river otters, muskrats, and a few varieties of ducks. This is truly a place for those who love to be on the water. It is a fisherman's delight! The public boat ramp is just a few blocks away, and we have private parking for your boat trailer. Very quiet and peaceful. Recently remodeled and very clean.
Please note: four exterior steps with a handrail leading into the home, with a covered area and a small half-step between the kitchen and living room inside (from linoleum to carpet) are part of the original layout.

Owner allowed us to get in the residence earlier than check-in time without any issue. Residence was very clean and accommodated our needs for the weekend. I would stay there again.
Perfect for our fishing trip. Located within a few blocks of the public launch and the dock in front is perfect for midday breaks. The trailer was well stocked and had all the comforts of home. This was my fourth time staying and I will be staying again.
Had an excellent time here! Place was nice and clean and close to the river. Sunset are spectacular! Just wish there was more outdoor space to hang out on. If you want to sit outside, pack lawn chairs. Would absolutely stay here again!
Just outside of La Crosse, this was a great little place to stay with friends while visiting our kids for UWL Family weekend! It was nothing fancy but had all the amenities to make for a comfortable stay! John was responsive to any questions we had.
The only issue I had was that Google maps took me to the wrong house. Oviously not your fault but something you may want to look into having corrected. The place very clean and was everything we needed for our ice fishing trip.
Lovely stay very quiet. Right on the Mississippi river.
Very clean and well stocked the kitchen as far as utensils and what you need. It is in a trailer, so trying to find it was a little bit tricky but contacting the owners was fantastic! Great trip from the cities with my two boys, we enjoyed ourselves!
Came in for UWL Parents weekend and this was SO much better than a hotel. Extremely well stocked, unbelievably clean and quaint. Right on the river and the back view is amazing. Excellent communication also. We will definitely reserve again!! Thank you!!
4 adults came up to ice fish. If you have more adults it would be tough to sleep more I think. 4 was perfect for an ice fishing adventure. 2 slept in beds, 1 slept in a chair, and one on the couch. Parking was a little bit of a trick with 2 trucks and trailers. If we needed to we would have just parked a trailer at the landing but nobody complained on how we were parked.
When we pulled be honest little taken back by outside appearance. But is very nice redone on inside very clean. Talked with property manager over a concern was very polite and helpful. Nice relaxing watch the river go by. Very much enjoyed our stay would stay here again..
i get urges to be near the water, this was the perfect spot. front row seat to the best river view yet, amazing sunsets. Even though a few days of my stay were a bit windy, it was still wonderful..
Driving up to the trailer at first, i was a bit disappointed, but after entering the inside, my view was changed. It was very nicely updated, decorated and spotless ! i also got to meet John and Racheal, the hosts, great people.
I'd highly recommend a Ribeye dinner at Rockys Supperclub right there in town, you wont be disappointed. this little diamond in the rough, will definitely remain on my lists of stays to revisit.
My husband and our 5 kids stayed at this home for the 4th of July weekend. The owners provided an inflatable mattress and there is also a cot. The mattresses on the beds are very comfortable. Everything about the home was next to perfect. Do not be deceived by the outside. It’s what’s on the inside that counts - the inside is completely remodeled and spotless from top to bottom. The outside is a little run down but still very functional. We were able to dock our boat to the pier that is right on the Mississippi backwaters located a short ride to the main channel. We caught plenty of pan fish, large mouth and a few perch from the pier. We made small fires in the fire pot and roasted marshmallows while we watched the beautiful sunsets. This is definitely a place we hope to come back to and will highly recommend to our friends and family!
Description and photos of the property are all accurate but they definitely show the property from all of its best angles. We were a little underwhelmed initially upon arrival as the mobile home is tucked in a closely packed row of 4 or 5 other mobile homes and the exterior was lacking the charm we expected. The home smelled a bit musty upon entry and we only found one window we could open to air it out. After a lighting a candle and healthy application of Febreeze we settled in for the night. It was spacious, comfortable and everything we needed was there. The bed was also comfortable and the river view was beautiful. Despite the initial disillusionment the place grew on us over our days there and we enjoyed drinking our coffee outside looking out at the water.

Family member tripped on raised floor & broke wrist.
There is a raised floor, about 2" that separates the entrance/kitchen and living room. There was no mention or warning to watch your step, etc. A family member tripped, fell and broke her wrist. The host was not responsive after mention of the break. This mobile home was well kept and clean. If there had been mention of this raised floor and a step up it would have made all the difference.
A friend (waiting for a kidney), and I were looking for a place to stay for some fishing. We found this place and it met our expectations, the weather didn't, but that was to be expected. Absolutely no problems! If we come back to that area again, we'll be booking if it's available.
Stayed here for a short weekend with my son. Spent most of the days fishing, but the property was great. Perfect location for coulee region activities. My only regret is that due to morning rain I didnt get the chance to enjoy coffee by the river.
