Booked as a pet friendly break on beautiful North Norfolk coast. Location was 2min walk to the beach, with plenty of sights nearby, within walking distance if you fancy it. Accomodation was great!, and as a bonus, the owl was quite magnificent!!!

Lovely place to stay. Well equipped, and stocked with breakfast items, extra items can be collected from the main dining room which is part of the converted farm.Being dog friendly, meant a range of dogs coming to visit us while we sat outside taking in the sun from the other accommodations.

This place looks and sounds ideal for those getaways with your loved one and a dog; in fact, the photos make it look very romantic Unfortunately, that was not the case. Every room was spider-infested, with webs in every corner, and not until the last day, while packing our clothes away, did we notice there were even spiders and their webs in the wardrobe too; we pulled our cases out from under the bed, and there was loads of dust under there; obviously, it hadn’t beenThe shower was dirty with mould in the grout and tiles, and what looked like tiny dog hairs in the bottom, and the water pressure was very low too. The outside was unkempt with grass growing (well, dead) under the seating area, not ideal for eating or drinking out there, as shown in the photos.We were charged 120 for 6 days for cleaning up after our dog, which was a joke considering the place was not even cleaned for us. I wish now we had brought someone in to look at it, but we don’t like upsetting anyone; it did upset us. You would have to see it to believe it.Re car parking, we had a space in front of our chalet, great, but only on the first day did we have the chance to park there, as when we came back someone else was parked there; not ideal when we were told that was our space.This holiday is the most we’ve paid per night at 200.00 plus, and the price point we paid and expected was extremely low; we were very disappointed.Plus side of this place: comfy bed and bed linen.Close to the beach

Disappointed

Fab location. Accommodation at first glance nice. Comfy bed. But..... Couldn't sit outside due to drain smell so eventhough patio looked lovely it was not useable. Shower was useless and just a dribble. Smell of damp inside which could be from outside to be fair No comfy chair to rest in. Had to lay on bed No hob in the kitchenet. Very basic And host dropped a large invoice on us for dogs but we were not advised when booking through vrbo. Charges not visible when booking. But apparently they are on other platforms.

Thank you Elaine for taking the time to leave a review, we spoke about your issues before and I am sorry that you felt the need to add them here too, bad feedback is very much welcomed but less-than-star reviews (which is what we strive for) does far more harm that it does good. Our facilities and dog charges are clearly stated, I am sorry that you missed this. As for the smell, we are still left wondering where it came from as no one else can find it or has mentioned it. We would have hoped for you to have had a much better time, we are very sorry that you didn't :(
