Great location to explore all the sights in the Ironbridge Gorge.

Great location to explore all the sights in the Ironbridge Gorge. Mattress topper on bed and was very comfortable. River very high and fast flowing so unable to fish. A little dated in parts but we managed to cook some lovely meals and then walk to The Boat (about 10 minutes) for a few drinks. Staff in all museums very helpful and knowledgeable.

We had a very relaxing week here, which is what we both wanted and needed.

We had a very relaxing week here, which is what we both wanted and needed. If you don't like spiders this place is not for you, we shared the house with umpteen of them that seemed at home and well established in the house. The garden is fantastic. getting one's luggage down the steep drive was ok, getting it back up was not, the house could probably do with a repaint inside, it could also do with some new pans and cooking utensils in the kitchen, but even so a very pleasant stay.
