Mr. Steve In Portugal, apartments are legally required to be painted and restored every 8 years. This apartment building had begun the restoration process, but the work was interrupted due to the summer and to avoid disturbing guests. The building is not falling apart, and the apartment is in excellent condition, as you had the opportunity to see. You took 2 or 3 photos of the exterior of the balcony (which in no way disturbs the stay on the balcony for those who used it) and, in an attitude that perfectly reflects your lifestyle, you gave a rating of 6 to an apartment that until now has always received ratings between 8 and 10 from our visitors.

A Good Stay

Location was convenient, a 5 min walk to the new town strip, 10-15 min walk to the beach, and about a 40 min walk to old town. Luis was very easy to get in touch with for any issues.

Everything you could ask for!

We spent a month in this apartment and loved it. It is well appointed and has everything you need. The location is conveniently close to restaurants and grocery stores. The host was helpful, and the apartment is as advertised.

Winter getaway

Great location exactly as advertised. Sonia and Luis were good to deal with. Unfortunately the weather was abnormally cool and wet when we were there for the month of March.Would recommend this property.

The apartment was just as described. Very clean and very well equipped. Everything you need. The pool area is lovely and was very quiet and peaceful.Hosts were very welcoming.Location was great. Close to all amenities but far enough away from the strip so you couldnt hear any noise at night. We will definately book again when visiting Albuferia.

Great

At first, the location can’t be better. It is near to The Strip, supermarkets, restaurants etc. Communication with the property manager is very easy and whenever something is wrong, they’ll fix it immediately. The swimming pool is also very nice and big. We had a great time!

The apartment was as described and in the perfect location with walking distance to the beach and the strip. The pool area was usually not very busy- the only thing is there are no sunloungers by the pool but we just used towels. There were 5 of us and the futon was very comfortable and was big enough to fit 2 people on

Sonia’s Place

Lovely apt, great location, 5 minutes walk to strip, 30 minutes walk to old town Albuferio, 4 minutes walk to Aldi supermarket, buses run right outside their door, hosts were lovely and responsive. If you love the sun you don’t get it on their lovely deck till 3:30. Pool was great and well maintained. No condiments like basic salt, pepper sugar and basic cleaning supplies tabs for dishwasher and clothes washer this might be a little pickey….overall great place and great hosts. Thank you p. S. They left a sweet welcoming basket. Sonia’s boyfriend was great (sorry couldn’t remember name) but sweet and drove us to the airport at 4:00 a.m. thank you

Lovely apartment

This was our first time staying in this apartment after several years of visiting Portugal. The apartment was lovely, the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us as it was close to lots of different restaurants and a short walk to the strip for the nightlife. The only downside was the fact there were no sunbeds to use around the pool, which meant you had to lie on the grass which is not ideal as the grass in Portugal is very coarse and spikey and there were lots of bugs on the ground. Th apartment did provide 2 beds both of which were the flimsy fold up ones which were not adequate. As the weather was not good for most of our stay we were ok. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who isn't bothered about sunbathing. Overall we had a great time

Location was good; close to the strip and near restaurants. A good walk to Oura beach or Santa Eulália. The pools were nice and the kids loved hanging out there. The apartment itself was well equipped with dishes, pots and pans, glasses, Tupperware, etc... The only thing that could have been improved on was the cleanliness. It felt like it had been a quick reset after the previous guests instead of a full clean. The bedsheets and towels were all fresh however and smelled freshly laundered. Overall we had a good stay and would recommend the space.
