The Lakehouse is a charming home for a fun family vacation. Kitchen is well supplied and had everything needed for making Christmas cookies. Plenty of space to hang out, with games and movies that kept us entertained. The owners could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their stay. Thank you!

Thank you for choosing to stay at our home. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay. I was stunned when I came out on a late morning and you indicated that you caught your limit of bluegill for the day in the kayak ride no less.
We hope you choose to stay with us again sometime.
We loved our stay at The Lakehouse Retreat! Sherrie was a wonderful and responsive host and the home was spotless, spacious, and perfect for our group. The lake views, renting the pontoon boat, kayaking, and swimming made it extra special, and the location is ideal for relaxing. There is easy access to the lake. We enjoyed the shaded dining space on the deck and the firepit area near the water. The kitchen is well stocked. Truly fun for all ages—highly recommend!

Thank you Ana for choosing to stay with us and glad you enjoyed with your family!
This is a good size house on a very nice lake with beautiful sunsets and a nice pier to fish from. The main area is large and the kitchen well equipped. While there are 2 bathrooms one is accessible only through the primary bedroom on the 2nd floor. This means that others sleeping upstairs must go through that bedroom to use the bathroom at night or venture down the stairs to the first floor bathroom. The bathroom on the first floor is small and might be difficult for some to manuever in.

ThThank you for choosing to stay at our lake house. W We do appreciate your feedback. Although at this time, we can’t change the phone structure of a cottage that was formally added. On a remodeled, we can take that into consideration for future reference. We are glad that you found.
The sunsets, enjoyable, and everything that you needed in the kitchen. We hope that you choose to vacation at our home again.
Everything listed was accurate, hosts were very good at communicating and were very gracious. We’re originally from Delton and will keep this rental in mind for future stays. Definitely would recommend to others! Thanks for the amazing stay!

Thank you so much for choosing to stay at our lake home. We are so glad that you were able to reconnect and enjoy your stay in Delton. I apologize for the delay in response to the review but I did read it when you posted it. We hope and look forward for you staying again sometime.
Although the weather wasn’t in our favor, we enjoyed our stay and time together. Kayaking and fishing were the main features the week. The house has plenty of room to spread out, including two bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing home-cooked meals 3x per day, including a pot big enough to make spaghetti for six and for boiling corn on the cob. The grill was clean and ready for us, all we needed to supply was the charcoal. The dining table was the hub for most of our meals and for board games (supplied by host!), except when the weather allowed for a lunch or two at the table on the deck under the awning. We enjoyed the water as much as the temperature allowed and built sand castles and watched sunsets the rest of the time.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at the lake in spite of the weather. It sounds like you made the best of it and it’s all about spending time together.
Spent a wonderful week on Upper Crooked Lake at this lake house retreat. The close proximity to the lake was awesome. We opened up the front windows and listened to the waves.
We had the best week at Sherrie and Norman's Lake House! The house is cute and the decor puts you in the lake life mode right away. We flew into MI from out of state, so we were traveling light, but the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - the kitchen had all of the tools and dishes that we needed, the appliances worked well, the house had lots of comfy furniture and space for everyone to enjoy being together, there was a whole shelf of games and cabinet of movies to enjoy, the location right on the water was just what we had hoped for, and Sherrie and Norman were great hosts. Thank you both for making our Michigan summer vacation dreams a reality.

Thank you for choosing to stay at our lake house. It’s things that you stated that’s why so many people enjoy their time at the lake. We hope to see you again in the future.
The property is nice; cozy and inviting. The king suite could use a mattress update, and the showers are a bit cramped, but other than that the property is good.
Great location, feet from the lake, great accommodations.
Owner is very friendly, and worked with us on any requests.

Thank you so much for letting us know about your say. I’m so glad that your family enjoyed. We actually have had that mattress only three years and we even put a topper on it for the comfort of our guest last summer because it was super firm.
We are so sorry that you did not sleep well. Our former Gus have indicated that they were comfortable with the king mattress as we had a former queen size bed in the master
We are sorry that the showers are a bit cramped but the average adult seems to do OK. The upstairs bathroom is not for the taller folks but has the jetted tub. The downstairs shower was renovated three years ago and it’s a small bathroom so we can’t go much bigger, but again seems ample for folks even for taller individuals.
Thank you for choosing our Lakehouse for your vacation destination. We hope to see you again and glad you enjoyed your visit to Michigan.
What a wonderful experience on the lake. Thank you-
