You can only reach your home by boat (included), allowing you to truly escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You’ll truly feel at one with nature. The cottage is off-grid and self-sufficient: electricity is generated by solar panels, you’ll cook using gas cylinders or outdoors on the BBQ, and you’ll shower using collected rainwater. The holiday home features a spacious entryway, bathroom, and kitchen equipped with a refrigerator with freezer compartment and a gas stove. There’s a spacious living-dining room with a fantastic view and a cosy hanging chair where you can read or daydream while enjoying the sight of birds or deer passing by. On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms that sleep 5 people and a spacious landing. It’s also the perfect spot for long hikes, afternoon or day-long boat trips, or a lovely bike ride. Did you know, by the way, that this area is one of the quietest and darkest in the Netherlands? Many animal species still thrive in this beautiful area. Don’t be surprised if a roe deer wanders through the garden, or enjoy spotting a falcon or the many ganzen.In the house, you’ll find maps with walking, boating, and biking routes.
