La Tana del Riccio - House with a garden on the hill in Aosta

"La Tana del Riccio" takes its name from the charming family of hedgehogs that live in our garden during the summer. It’s located in Porossan, the beautiful hill overlooking Aosta: you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds—surrounded by nature, yet just a few minutes from the city centre (2.5 km). The apartment is part of a family villa: it’s a spacious two-room apartment perfect for 2–4 guests. Bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub, Wi-Fi, Netflix, and Amazon Video. Garden with a relaxation area. Parking included.
The villa is located right at the top of the hill and is unique in that it was built into and integrated with the rock; its shape is also original and eccentric, with irregular spaces and circular turrets.
The apartment opens onto an L-shaped entryway and a semicircular space used as a dining area with a round table for 4 people; to the left is the kitchenette, equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, and induction cooktop.
To the right of the entryway is the spacious and bright living room with a corner sleeper sofa and a 32" LED TV.
Adjacent to the living room is the bedroom, equipped with a four-season closet and a queen-size bed, which can be converted into two single beds if desired.
The bathroom, connected to the living room via a hallway, features a corner Jacuzzi tub that can be used in the summer: here you can treat yourself to a nice, relaxing soak!
The apartment overlooks a garden of about 150 m² equipped with a table and chairs on the paved area right in front of the entrance door and deck chairs on the lawn, surrounded by roses and aromatic plants (rosemary and bay leaves) and two birch trees.
You can park your car in the parking area adjacent to the apartment.

TOURIST TAX
Effective May 1, 2024, with the entry into force of the regional law of July 18, 2023, the tourist tax is now mandatory for guests staying in tourist accommodation. The tax will apply to all guests over the age of 15 for the first 7 days of their stay and will vary depending on the season.

High season rate: €1.50 per night
Low season rate: €0.75 per night
(from May 1 to June 15 and from October 1 to November 30)

Payment methods: cash at check-in, bank transfer, PayPal, Satispay.

CHECK-IN:
• To speed up the check-in process, please send a front-and-back copy of the ID of all guests one week before your arrival, for legal reporting to the Police Headquarters in compliance with public safety regulations.
• Upon arrival, you will be asked to sign the short-term rental agreement for tourist use (required by the owners for tax purposes).

EXTRA FEES FOR CHECK-IN/OUT OUTSIDE THE SPECIFIED TIME FRAME, subject to request and approval based on the host’s availability (payment upon check-in/out):

• EVENING check-in from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM: €20
• LATE CHECK-OUT beyond the time specified in the listing: 20€
• NIGHT CHECK-IN from 11 PM to 7 AM: 40€
• DELAYS: 5€ for every half-hour of waiting beyond 60 minutes from the scheduled time (please notify us at least a couple of hours in advance in case of a delay or early arrival).
• Check-in during HOLIDAYS (New Year’s Day on January 1, Epiphany on January 6, St. Orso’s Day on January 30–31, St. Valentine’s Day on February 14, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, Liberation Day on April 25, Labour Day on May 1, Republic Day on June 2, Ferragosto on August 15, All Saints’ Day on November 1, the Immaculate Conception on December 8, Christmas Eve on the 24th, Christmas on the 25th, St. Stephen’s Day on the 26th, New Year’s Eve on December 31): €30.
