Amazing place in a great neighborhood!

We had nine people in this apartment and it was absolutely perfect, we could get together and hang out in the living room or go to our respective rooms. I loved that there were 3 bathrooms, perfect for our big group. The virtual keys were really easy so we could split up if we wanted during the day. Overall this place was amazing, and the communication with the host was great!

start, the apartment was nothing like the pictures that were advertised. The unit was old, dirty, and not properly maintained.The washer did not work, and the air conditioning was terrible. I spent the first evening cleaning the laundry room, fixing the washer hose connection and drain, and cleaning every A/C filter because several units were not working at all.I was traveling with my children and another family. The apartment was so hot that we spent time outside until 2:00 a.m. just to escape the heat. It took nearly two days before the apartment became comfortable. Because of the conditions, I had to book two hotel rooms for the first night, which cost an additional 1,400 since most hotels were sold out. It was extremely embarrassing and frustrating, especially since I was traveling with another family.We even had to move mattresses so all of the children could sleep together in the cooler part of the apartment.To make matters worse, we were told the unit was on the first floor, but it was actually on the third floor, requiring us to carry all of our luggage up several flights of stairs.There is also a bar directly in front of the building that stays open until around 2:00 a.m. every night, creating significant noise. In addition, there is construction taking place right in front of the building.This has been the worst rental experience I have ever had while traveling. Interesting Lodging

The facility is in an excellent location. At one point there were 6 of us staying there. There were a few challenges. 1) Apartment was on 3rd floor: (1st floor was ground floor, 2nd was mezzanine & 3rd was apartment) with no elevator. It was difficult to climb with suitcases. There were no wash clothes, blankets nor clothes dryer. This may be standard for Barcelona. There were 3 slats missing from the window in the kitchen. I notified the owner to no avail. Insects did come in. One the last day, there was flooding in one bathroom shower. There were not enough supplies for a 2 week stay. Some of these issues may have been understandable. However, they were not listed in the description. The stay was enjoyable and neighborhood was perfect. We adopted to these issues but they were surprising.

Thank you Charles! As you say in the review, in the advertisement I specify that I provide sheets and comforters, one shower towel per guest but no soaps or shampoo. Anyway I always leave small bottles as a welcome kit for you to use!

Very large apartment perfect for our family visiting Barcelona. Walking distance from Park Guell and Sagrada Família. Host was very prompt in communicating. Air conditioning was nice after long days in the heat. plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate large families or groups.
