This little gatehouse is super cute and comfortable for a family of 5 or fewer. Not good for mobility issues with several stairs unless it's just 2 people sleeping in the downstairs room. Kitchen is well stocked with cookery and appliances, just bring any food/spices. Smart TV gives you options. Outdoor space is very pretty with the sound of the river close by. Road noise might bother some, but it was doable for us.15 min drive to Ft. William. 7 min drive to Spean Bridge. Try the Old Station Restaurant in Spean Bridge. We had a lovely stay and would come back. Sophia was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. :)

Why they chose this property
Stay in the heart of the Highlands in a charming gatehouse on the Invergloy estate which dates back to the mid-1800s. Conveniently located on the A82 between Fort William and Inverness, West Lodge is a great self-catering option for hikers and skiers keen to get out and explore the Highlands. The cottage is under new management, and has been upgraded to include high-speed wifi. Some traffic sounds can be heard inside the house. Staircase may be slightly tight for people with mobility issues.
