We had a fantastic midweek holiday with 2 adults and 4 children (ages 10 - 15).

We had a fantastic midweek holiday with 2 adults and 4 children (ages 10 - 15). Even though the lodge is a bit dated it has everything you need and was extremely comfortable. It was so peaceful at night and I had some of the best night sleep in a long time. Towels and bedding were provided, which is always welcome, and the hottub was well looked after - which added additional value to the already value or money stay. Be prepared to drive 20-25mins to the local shops and sites, but the location is worth it. We visited different roman sites each day and the scenery as you drive is fantastic.
