Great refuge to recharge batteries
We stayed as a family of six and it is just as the other reviews say: Marj and Bruce are warm, welcoming, caring, helpful and fun hosts with lots of tipps. The cottage is just beautiful with EVERYTHING you need, it's peaceful and spacious, and thoughtfully decorated. There are lots of places to relax inside and outside with a pool that is not only fun for kids but for adults as well. The countryside is stunning with ancient villages and sunflower fields. La Maison des Renards is a refuge and it was hard to leave.

Hello, we are Marj and Bruce. We arrived in France from Scotland in 2019 to start a new life. We had worked in different fields for twenty plus years and wanted to do something together. After an extended holiday in 2018 to France we fell in love with the area and drove home having bought our place! We hope our guests in France will fall in love with the picturesque villages, food, wines and weather in the area as we did. We look forward to welcoming you to France too.

Our cottage offers able bodied and those with accessibility issues the opportunity for to relax and escape to a quiet hamlet environment surrounded by nature yet only 2km from village life with full amenities or 20 minutes to city life. Whilst centuries old, our cottage benefits from modern facilities with fibre broadband connection and internet television offering access to a full range of channels from countries in a range of languages.
