Town: The Mendip Hills AONB's northernmost village and civil parish is called Blagdon. It is very interesting and has at least 17 listed buildings, including a church from the fifteenth century. There are two pubs, two convenience stores, and a café available as amenities. The fishing-friendly Blagdon Lake is northeast of the settlement, and the Organic Gardens and a Yeo Valley dairy with a café are also close by. The Mendip Hills are a picturesque walking and cycling destination that should not be missed. There is undoubtedly something in the neighbourhood to suit every taste, including a traditional day at the beach in Weston-super-Mare.
