Bare Minimum

This place is small! While reasonably cool-looking, this apartment is really not comfortable. The toilet/shower combo is almost comical in its compactness. The skimpy supply of toilet paper didn't help. The climb up to the sleeping loft is uncomfortable in bare feet and the kitchen is ridiculously cramped. There is no couch, and really nowhere to relax during the day unless you want to climb up into the loft, where you can't really sit up. At least half of the 50 m^2 that is advertised in the listing includes a lower level that is accessible through a trap door and is essentially an empty room. Would definitely not recommend for anything longer than a single-night.

The Studio has been renovated to a very high specification. Slippers (in the Winter) and flip-flops (in the Summer) are provided for every guest; 2 rolls of toilet paper, kitchen roll, coffee, tea, olive oil, salt and pepper are also provided. The king sized bed on the sleeping platform is 160 cm. The lounge area includes as the photos show a large table which can seat four, and two comfortable lounge chairs with a low terrazzo table. The large cellar space is an hidden bonus; equipped with a table and stools which can be used as a quiet workspace or ideal aperitif hang out. Alternatively the large Fatboy pouf is ideal for lounging especially in the summer months where this space is a naturally cool haven. The kitchenette and shower/toilet spaces are compact but high specification (granite worktops, Whirlpool oven/microwave, marble tiles and rainfall shower). All of this in a 15th century town house with 4m high beamed ceilings and vaulted cave (Greek pottery was found during the renovation!) in the heart of Arles.

Idéalement placé et original, tel que dans la description.Attention ne convient pas aux personnes qui supportent mal d'être dans un espace réduit pour dormir, mais malgré la petite surface, chaque espace est optimisé.
