You deserve some time away, Rest and relaxation, the sound of the waves, the smell of the ocean. Let us share our little piece of paradise with you. Our Beautiful Oceanfront Studio Suite, on 3.5 acres of stunning waterfront property at Inn of the Sea Resort. Our open plan Studio Suite offers 450 square feet of living area with a comfortable Queen size bed, a full 4-piece bath, Gallery style kitchenette featuring a breakfast/eating counter with bar stools, 2 burner cooktop, toaster oven, microwave and mini fridge, private water view balcony, and on-site laundry facility. The Ocean and beach are just 20 steps away from our condo. Our studio suite is offered for a maximum of 2 people.

Absolute Paradise is one way of describing Inn of the Sea. Please come and enjoy this wonderful place. Our privately owned condo surrounded by tall cedar trees, has views of the Gulf Islands and the Stuart Channel.

You will enjoy panoramic views from our large ocean-side heated pool and hot tub. The Hot Tub is heated and open all year round. The Pool will open on or around May 15th and close September 30th. The private dock offers boat moorage and is great for crabbing and fishing. The property has a playground for the kids, a beach-side fire pit, various bar-b-que patios as well as a private tennis court, and lots of green space.

Inn of the Sea is an ideal year round vacation getaway. It is very popular with families in the summer and as a secluded retreat in the winter. With the islands mild climate its a perfect place to get away. Inn of the Sea offers seaside recreation, peaceful relaxation, natural beauty, and tranquility. The resort is beautifully landscaped with rose gardens and lush greenery. During your stay you may see playful Otters and Seals, Hummingbirds, Great Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, and maybe even Orcas swimming through the channel. Time can be spent beachcombing, checking out the starfish, kayaking, fishing and crabbing, or just lazing around the heated pool and hot tub.
We are located 15 minutes South of Nanaimo, 70 minutes to Victoria and 10 minutes from the town of Ladysmith.
BC Ferries, Duke Point terminal and Nanaimo Regional Airport are only ten minutes away.

Really awesome little condo. Only downsides were there is no AC so we were really warm in the evenings, and there is next to zero cell reception in the area which makes coordinating with other people challenging.

We enjoyed the property and the outdoor space. There is an area to have a fire and also outdoor hot tub and pool with spectacular view. The owner was excellent to communicate with and check in super simple. I highly recommend this property.

Excellent location

The studio suite is well equipped with everything we needed and we were pleasantly surprised to find 2 mini fridges as we only expected one. The bed was comfortable and a floor fan was provided to help with the heat. The kitchen although small, provided everything we needed and had coffee and sugar stocked. The balcony provides a lovely view of the sunrise and the pool area and pickle ball court were excellent. For 2 people, we found this unit and location to be exactly what we needed. Tammy was prompt to respond to my inquiries prior to arrival and I had no need to reach out while we were at the property for a week as everything was as promised.

Not exactly the romantic getaway and more so a very kid friendly spot. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable and the constant dogs barking, loud banging from upstairs units and kids yelling everywhere on the property including screaming/jumping in the pool, using floaties in the hot tub and at one point jumping on our standup paddle boards at the marina. Communication with the host and easy check in.

We arrived to our three day stay to a very clean and comfortable condo. Perfect size for just the two of us, the condo's kitchen was well-equipped and we enjoyed many meals on the balcony. The attention to detail and pride of ownership was apparent. From the peppermint shampoo to the detailed information about local food and activities, the owners of this condo thought of everything. The amenities were great including a well-maintained pool and hot tub, tennis courts and beautiful gardens to walk through. The view of the ocean was stunning and only a quick walk to a couple provincial parks in both directions. A must stay if you want a quiet and peaceful place to call home. I didn't want to leave!

Disappointing

Quiet time was stated as 10 pm first night was woken up at 230 am with kids screaming outside. All the chairs at the pool were taken up by kids. Only two towels for five night stay. Had kids running back and forth above us. This should not be advertised as a romantic getaway. Also saw dogs pooping on the lawn and the owner didn’t pick it up.

Absolute paradise

What an absolute beautiful location. Everything you could possible need to either stay busy or relax depending on what you’re looking for. Or both of course. It’s not as quiet as I was thinking it would be. Lots of families also enjoying their vacations. But if you know what to expect it’s perfect. I have already started to talk to my teenage/young adult kids about making this our annual vacation destination next summer. Tammy was so responsive with any questions we had and hand delivered a pillow when the one provided wasn’t quite right for my bf. We had just what we needed to cook for ourselves all week and the beautiful thick beach towels were a nice touch for the pool days. I would recommend this location and condo without hesitation. 😊

Overall it was close to what we were anticipated, there is no air conditioning and with the very warm weather a couple of nights were uncomfortable for sleeping. The grounds were very nice and the pool and hot tub were clean. The view was exceptional.

Great place, amazing views, good price!

Listing matched what it says, the views are breathtaking! We saw orcas and seals. Internet/tv is great, rooms are clean and has good amenities, close to town and stores. Tammy was very responsive and helpful! Only issue for us was that the bed was a bit too soft for us, but we made it work. 5/5 would stay again!

I’d go back!

The condo we had at Inn of the Sea was really lovely…well equipped, clean, tastefully decorated and the location is great. It was very quiet, even though there were kids around. The beds are really comfy too! We enjoyed looking out over the ocean while in the pool and hot tub. All in all a great getaway.

The condo and property were beautiful. Spa tub and pool lovely. Very clean property. Kids upstairs from us. Toddler ran from one end to the other every night between 7 and 9 or 10. We were gone most of the time but when we got home the was alot of loud running and yelling. Back and forth. Back and forth. Absolutely annoying. Besides that everyone was friendly and I would recommend to anyone.

Being from the East Coast, my husband and I love the ocean. We have always dreamed of owning an ocean front property and a few years ago we made that dream come true. It was the best decision we have ever made. We try to escape to the island as much as we can.

Why they chose this property

We discovered this property a few years ago when we were searching for a family oriented waterfront vacation rental. We found paradise, it had everything we were looking for and to say we bought a condo there and now want to share what we have found.

What makes this property unique

Our private beach front location as well as our Oceanside Pool and Hot Tub, Tennis Court and Playground on site.
also having a boat dock available to moore our boat is a huge advantage to us.
