A quiet location, close to nature and an easy drive to the area's key sights

The views from the kitchen and lounge are lovely, looking north across the Levels. We felt very close to nature. A friendly welcome from the host Sue, the Annexe has all the facilities we required for a short stay. It was very clean on arrival.

Everything we needed, in an ideal location.

Good location, easy to find. Our host was friendly and welcoming. The lodge was comfortable, and spotlessly clean. We really liked the private outdoor seating area and the pretty garden.

Great for a quiet country stay .

Lovely and quiet . Very difficult to find , but if you use the Zip code on the GPS should be fine .We thought it was a lot smaller than it looked on the photos .

Great for a quiet break

Very quiet, the property is a down a very long track with lovely views across a field. We were lucky enough to see a deer over the other side of the field a few times. The owner is very responsive without being intrusive. Cleanliness was excellent. Lots of places to visit in the vicinity, including several nature reserves. I'm sure we'll be back. Hard to think of anything that needs improving, maybe more drawer storage for underwear/socks/jumpers etc?

Nice secluded spot

This was a nice, comfortable base for us to explore some lovely villages and beautiful scenery around South West England. It had everything we needed.

Rosebud cottage suited the three of us perfectly, it had everything we needed and we loved the outdo

Rosebud cottage suited the three of us perfectly, it had everything we needed and we loved the outdoor space which was a great way to round off the day. It&#39s position close to many good bird-watching sites was a bonus. Not much to criticise, we found the bedrooms were a bit cramped, and bedside furniture was minimal.

A very comfortable stay in a great location.

The accomodation was great very comfortable and spotlessly clean and in a good location. A Bread Slicing knife and Dish drainer in the kitchen - but these are minor points as we loved the place and would definitely visit again. A bit difficult to see the entrance when we got back there in the dark, but none of these would stop us visiting again. Thank you

Thank you for your feedback Paula, we do appreciate it. We are thrilled you found the accommodation comfortable & clean. We have suggested to the owner about a bread knife & drainer, thank you for this. We would love to have you back!

Relaxing Break

Relaxing and quiet location. The property was as listed and we were very comfortable during our stay. Little touches like Christmas tree and pint of milk were welcome. Despite the typical British weather the property’s location allowed us to explore the local area such as Cheddar Gorge and Wells. Would thoroughly recommend Berrow beach-quiet and dog friendly! We loved the view out across the fields.

Just what the Dr ordered!

Rose Cottage was beautiful, clean and comfortable and was just what we needed for a short break. Sue the host was lovely and left a pint of milk in the fridge and popped round to put the heating on for us. The cottage had everything we needed and was ideally located for visiting the surrounding area. We had a wonderful break and would definitely return. There was a lovely pub called The Duck at Burtle which was very nice and about 15 mins drive.

Relaxing stay.

I liked that we were left alone. it was very clean and had all you needed The floor slowped and my mother in law trip over because of this. And walls were very thin you could hear everything . It was in the middle of nowhere and never found a shop so take what you need food wise with you. But other then that it was perfect and a beautiful little cottage would stay again
