Hi Toni, thank you for yoir review and very happy you enjoyed our chalet which means a lot to us as a family! We do like to maintain a more traditional Swiss ‘look’ to the chalet combined with clean functional bathrooms but yes, we may need to update our TV sofa as we have kept it for sentimental reasons. Dear Ann, Wow, what an absolutely wonderful review and reading it really made me smile and appreciate every word. You clearly explored all the local sightseeing spots and fantastic that you used the ferries from the Iseltwald pier. You certainly were busy! Your description of our chalet in terms of its space, layout, general amenities and suitability for all ages was exactly the reason why my father and uncle designed in that manner so it was so very rewarding to read your comments. The hot water and water pressure made me laugh as I must say it is one of the main reasons why I love coming here :) I am also very happy to see that your check in/out experience was hassle free, I am so thankful for our wonderful housekeepers who really do an amazing job! Oh yes, so sorry, I have upgraded the Wifi provider (over 200 Mbps now!) recently and yes, we now have an ATM machine next to the village shop, and woohoo! I am so very pleased you enjoyed your stay and that you found everything comfortable and to your liking. I am already looking forward to your next stay :) Yes, as you say, it is the top penthouse apartment of the chalet, not the whole building! There are a total of 5 apartments including ours in the chalet which is the largest as it occupies the whole of the top floor. We actually converted two apartments into one from the floor plans before it was built. Frustratingly, there is no way to specify a penthouse chalet on VRBO. I wish you safe travels on your journey and I have highly recommended you to any other hosts on VRBO. Best wishes, Andrew
