A charming, rustic farmhouse, completely remodeled in a 2022-2023, situated atop a private hill with an infinity pool and surrounded by nature. The farmhouse features comfortable outdoor spaces where you can dine and relax while enjoying a breathtaking view. The entire house is equipped with air conditioning, and each bedroom has a private bathroom. The historic centre of Lucca is a 20-minute drive away, as is the coast of the famous Versilia region.
At Villa Gioma, you’ll find a charging station for electric cars.
We charge an additional fee of 30€ per day for utilities, payable at check-in.

Description
The villa is a charming stone country house (350 square metres) offering Wi-Fi, air conditioning in every room, and a private infinity pool. It has been recently renovated in a modern style while preserving the charm of the original stonework and period ceilings.
The property can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 5 charming bedrooms on the ground floor, each with its own private bathroom, and one bedroom on the ground floor with a private bathroom, which can also be used as a study; all beds are king-size.
The villa is located 10 km from the historic centre of Lucca (Italy) and just 17 km from Viareggio. In the nearby towns, about a 15-minute drive away, there are shops and small supermarkets where you can find fresh, authentic products. If you can’t find what you need in the area, there’s a shopping centre less than 10 km away with everything you could possibly want.

What Awaits You
The villa features a stunning pergola perfect for aperitifs and an outdoor patio with a barbecue and wood-fired oven where you can dine while enjoying a panoramic view of the city of Lucca. In front of the villa is the saltwater pool with a waterfall, situated at another scenic spot on the estate. The last kilometre of the access road to the villa is unpaved and not suitable for sports cars or vehicles with very low ground clearance.
Upon arrival, you’ll find a beautiful, newly renovated holiday home with views of the hills and a glimpse of the sea—ideal for a pleasant holiday in Tuscany. Take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen to prepare meals using fresh, authentic local ingredients during your holiday. The kitchen is equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, hob, and refrigerator, as well as enough dishes and cutlery for up to 14 people. Whether you’re having lunch or dinner outdoors, the fully equipped patio—complete with a sound system—is the perfect setting to enjoy good food, the company of your family or a group of friends, and the enchanting Tuscan climate.

Most tourists enjoy visiting cities and towns in the area while on holiday, so to help you plan your day trips, here’s a list of popular destinations reachable by car, along with their distances from the holiday home: Viareggio 17 km, Pisa 23 km, Forte dei Marmi 30 km, La Spezia 69 km, and Portovenere 84 km. The highway is just 15 km from the villa, and there’s also a train station 13 km away.

If you’ve always wanted to visit the Tuscan coast, the holiday home is just 25 minutes from the sea.
