We are so happy to hear that you had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed staying at Swallow Barn. We think it is superb too! Thank you for being such great guests.
Spacious property, brilliant for a family holiday with children and dog's. Lovely lots of room to run around and play, for the children. The dog's could wander safely and the 4 acre field was ideal for morning and night wander. A well fitted kitchen dinner and good size BBQ
Had the most amazing long weekend staying here. The house is truly wonderful, beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need. We'll never forget watching the sunsets from the deck and star gazing at night. Can't Can't recommend

We are so happy to hear that you had a wonderful stay and felt all your needs were met. We enjoy the sunsets too - they are spectacular! You were fabulous guests who left the Barn in excellent shape. Please come back and view some more!
Booked for a birthday treat for our son in law. Absolutely perfect!! Lots of space, really well equipped, couldn't fault anything.
Grounds were lovely and great for the dog. Walks, beaches all near by.
Great communication with owners too
We’ve just returned from the most incredible stay at Swallow Barn and Cottage, and it truly deserves every bit of praise we can give. The barn is exceptionally spacious — even with a party of eight, there was ample indoor and outdoor space for everyone to relax, spend time together, or find a quiet corner when needed. Both the barn and the cottage were immaculately clean, beautifully presented, and furnished in a way that perfectly complements the character and age of the buildings. It felt luxurious yet homely, with real attention to detail throughout.Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. Responses were quick, helpful, and left us feeling completely supported throughout our stay. Their local knowledge was invaluable — the recommendations for places to visit and eat were spot on and helped us make the most of the stunning surrounding area.We were visiting for a 70th family birthday, and the whole experience could not have been more perfect. Swallow Barn and Cottage gave us the ideal setting to celebrate, relax, and make memories we’ll treasure. We would love to return in the future and can’t recommend this wonderful place highly enough.

We are over the moon to hear that you had a wonderful stay at Swallow Barn and that you found the property to be so well appointed and equipped. It is always good to receive positive feedback as we really do prioritise offering a comfortable home away from home experience for our guests. We are so happy to hear that the family 70th was well celebrated!
We were only 6 in the end so had vast space to relax. Lots of little sitting areas where you could read or chat. Excellent kitchen, very well equipped and a real bonus to have two tables. Very attentive and cheerful maintenance man who sorted small issues quickly and efficiently - in one case before we knew it was an issue! Nice views around the house, plenty of parking. Lovely to have the swallows for company. Thank you.

The code number to get the key was incorrect but luckily the cleaners were still there.
It is a lovely barn. Large and suited our large family. My only criticism is that there was only one designated shower.

Hello Christine
In response to your comment about there only being one shower; this isn't correct. We have a powerful shower in the downstairs cloakroom and another excellent one in the Cottage bathroom. These rooms were completely renovated this summer with brand new plumbing appliances. In addition there are two more bathrooms in the Barn.
Just to let you know that our housekeeping team had to spend a lot of extra time vacuuming up huge amounts of dog hair off the furniture, including the new velvet sofa, so unfortunately you clearly didn't follow our house rules regarding dogs being kept off the furniture and beds.
Best wishes

Beautiful well equipped property that exceeded our expectations in a lovely part of the country . The information booklet could do with an update , as it seems to have been written during covid times and didnt give the right info regarding recycling .

Visiting from Sydney, we had a family break here with ages ranging from 11 months to 89!
Very spacious, and pretty views from most windows, Quiet, set back from the road and plenty of parking. Lots of lovely sofas to all sit around talking and outdoor seating too which we were able to use during the wonderful weather we had.
There was an issue with hot water which was quickly resolved and communication was very good with the owner.
Great place to stay but a caution for very young and elderly as there are 5 deep steps inside leading off the kitchen to the bedrooms which are on tiled floors and hard to see as they’re not marked.
We had the BEST time at Swallow Barn; we made amazing memories against a beautiful backdrop.
Angaharad is a great communicator and answered all our questions in advance. On arrival, we found someone had turned off the hot water and we called for help. A friendly plumber was with us & everything was sorted within the hour. Rest assured issues are resolved quickly by kind folks!
The address didn’t pop up on our GPS, but the postcode gets you to the A road and there's a clear sign so we recommend reading the directions provided in advance.
The living room has lovely new velvet sofas but the room can’t be closed; we recommend covering them in case your dogs are tempted! The underfloor heating made the house so cosy. We found some kitchen things we needed in the cottage so check both places! The wifi only struggled when all 12 of us were trying to load things simultaneously.
There are deep steps throughout but most have handrails. The steps into the cottage are bigger but we had no issues. We didn’t use a wheelchair but we had people with reduced mobility no-one found it difficult to navigate (except the spiral staircase, which I had to take slowly). This house is great for gatherings if you have sensory needs or need quiet spaces with lots of little nooks for chats.
Overall this house was a treat. We loved it. Some of our guests are already want to bring their families back! It's just as it looks in the photos but somehow bigger and happier. Enjoy the home, we certainly did!

Thank you for giving such detailed feedback and we are delighted that you found Swallow Barn 'a treat' and that it was a happy space to enjoy yourselves whilst on holiday. We would be delighted to welcome your guests for a return visit. Sending best wishes.
Quirky homely sprawling house with separate apartment, very well equipped and plenty of space for both family gatherings and quiet times.

Our Holiday at Swallow Barn
Although the actual property was amazing, there were so many ornaments and knick-knacks, it would be impossible to clean properly between bookings. which results in a lot of cobwebs. Although my grown up kids didn't mind about the bed linen being rough dried, I did. The garden was very exciting for the children to play. On the whole, we had a brilliant holiday and loved Pembrokeshire. WB

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and we are delighted to know that you thought the property was amazing and you had a brilliant time.
We are very disappointed to receive a 3 star review from you. This has never happened in all the years we have been offering beautiful Swallow Barn as a very special holiday location. Of course, we are always grateful for constructive feedback from our guests and have passed your comments on to our housekeeping team, who always endeavour to be thorough in their cleaning duties.
Regarding the linen; we do like to dry the sheets etc in the sunshine on the line whenever possible as this is a much fresher process than in a machine. All the linen is cotton and so sometimes this can result in a crispness.
Regarding the cobwebs; the downstairs area of Swallow Barn is an old building with original exposed stone walls and high timber beams. These features do attract daddy long legs type spiders, especially in the summer months. The property is thoroughly cleaned between guests, with special attention paid to this issue. Spiders are fast workers and sometimes cobwebs reform quickly or can be missed, especially if high up. We have highlighted this issue with our team so that there can be extra diligence in the future.
Best wishes

Fantastic property for a holiday with family and friends
Just returned from an amazing week in Pembrokeshire. Swallow Barn was a fantastic base from which to explore this beautiful part of the country. It was one of the hottest weeks of the year and we enjoyed its sunny position from the early morning through to the stunning evening sunsets. It was perfectly set up and equipped for a large group of family and friends.
The house was perfect and clean and had everything available to us.
The hosts were superb and communicative when needed. I would recommend to people to stay, the location is really handy, although you do have to drive everywhere.
Great place to socialise with family after a long time apart
Fabulous house with so many different areas and spaces to socialise with family and friends. Kids and dog loved running around the garden. Place was well stocked with everything we could have needed - home from home.
Communication was excellent from the start, and we were even able to check-in early on the day of arrival.
The house is spacious and well-equipped. The layout worked perfectly for the mix of families on our week at Tresior.
