Tussen Stad en Strand (“Between City and Beach”) is a very beautiful modern holiday villa located on the Hoornsevaart and on the edge of the cozy city center of Alkmaar. The villa is built sustainably, is gas-free and has its own parking space with an electric charging station. The district where this holiday home is located has a unique and splendid view of several mills. Behind this holiday villa there is a very spacious garden with a terrace, a lounge set, a dining table, a breakfast table and a hammock. The children can also play here to their heart's content; while you enjoy a good glass of wine on one of the various sunny terraces, they can jump all day on the trampoline! Inside of the accommodation, this holiday villa is nice and light and very spacious. It offers an underfloor heating. Both the attractive holiday villa and the unique location will ensure that this will be the unforgettable holiday for young and old!

Layout holiday villa

 On the ground floor there is a spacious living room with a sitting area and a fully luxuriously equipped kitchen. The kitchen offers a Quooker and a cozy dining area. Via a staircase from the kitchen you can reach the first floor where the three bedrooms and the two bathrooms are located. The first bedroom has a semi-double bed of 160 centimeters and the second bedroom has a semi-double bed of 140 centimeters where you can sleep with 2 children (not suitable for 2 adults). The spacious master bedroom offers a double bed and an en-suite bathroom consisting of a walk-in shower and a double sink. Additionally, there is a separate bathroom with a shower on the first floor.

Surroundings

This holiday villa has a fantastic location on the edge of the city center of Alkmaar. From this point you can cycle via the green path of the “Oudorperpolder” past the beautiful windmills to the shops and the cozy terraces of the old city center and the Waagplein. In addition, the holiday villa is situated only 12 km from both the beaches of Bergen aan Zee as Egmond aan Zee. You can cycle there in no time! For daily shopping you will find a supermarket, a bakery, a butcher and other shops in very close vicinity. In this pleasant environment there is something to offer for everyone; for sports enthusiasts there are sups for rent 300 meters away, or what about water skiing at only 2 kilometers away. Don't forget to visit the cozy artists' village of Bergen and of course the famous Cheese Market on Friday morning in the center of Alkmaar. Finally, there are also various possibilities to travel by public transport from this holiday house and the train station of Alkmaar Noord is a walk of only 5 minutes.
