Lovely little apartment that worked well for us. Only downside was balcony door was tricky to close and was a bit of a funky smell in the toilet. Overall though was really good value for money and had everything we needed for a week.

Basic ski in ski out location, clean and quiet location
Great location for skiing, bit of a walk or wait for the bus for rrstaurants, bars and nightlife.
We have enjoyed our stay at the studio. It was a bit dated, and not very clean as the guests have to tidy up after the stay themselves, but we had most of the things we needed. The location is great once we figured out the timings for the bus and the bus stops. The studio has a nice view and balcony, and it’s ski in / ski out so really nice. Phil’s instructions were very good. One thing to note - there was only one small heater to dry the ski clothes, and the lockers are not very warm, so sometimes we had damp boots (bring boots warmers with you). Overall, lovely area, we had friendly neighbours and the value for money was good in comparison to other prices at the resort.

Good cheap stay location, poor location
First is first - do not come here without a car. Courchevel Le Praz &1550 have a gondola to 1850 where the main action is - 1650 does not - YOU NEED A CAR otherwise it is 2 buses. We had a car so all good for us. The property was small and cheap but good value. Medium cleanliness. Excellent host communication. Thank you! I am not trying to be harsh, it is a good property just for the right price.

You can ski directly from the studio onto the main ski area in 1650 and therefore on to 1850 via 2 separate routes. The skiing in 1650 is superb in itself and benefits from being the quietest part of the 3 valleys. You also have great access to 1850. Meribel and then Val Thorens. An average skier can get to Saluire the main 1850 run in less than an hour. Once in the studio you DO NOT need a car for skiing... This is a good size STUDIO and not adevertised as as anything else, plus it has a balcony.

Basic but cheap and handy
Rudimentary but bed comfy and basics in place. Previous guests had not cleaned very well on departure.
Info from owner contained outdated entry code instructions and we had to plead to be let in by other guests who happened to be in hallway. Other elements of info provided also needed updating.

Le Belvedere change the Entrance code every year, this occurred shortly before your trip and the new code was CLEARLY WRITTEN in a note to you on VRBO before you left. In addition your friends in my 2 bed apartment next door would have had the new code.and they arrived a day earlier than you. Your friends gave my place a 5 STAR review and THEY are welcome back

Codes informed in the info sent by owner was incorrect,so we could not pass the front door. 5 digit code to keybox turned out to be only a 4 digit code. Washing machine full of wet clothes. Where to hang it. Leftoversin the fridge. Appartment dirty. Vacuum cleaner completelystopped. Parking place in basement for 2 cars. Impossible.I can only recommend owner to catch up, and update!

The correct code was sent to this couple along with the new wifi code before they arrived..and obviously they got in! This couple admitted they did not come to ski and so did not appreciate the value of having a budget apartment giving direct access to one of Europe's biggest best ski areas, while staying in one of Europe's most expensive resorts. Those who understand and enjoy this keep returning.
