It encourages us to continually question ourselves and reflect on what we do, so that we can maintain our standards of service. It is true that perfection is difficult to achieve, perhaps even impossible, but we always strive to get as close to it as possible. So, just to clarify a few points: Regarding the stairs, this is clearly stated in the listing. The apartment is indeed a duplex located on the second floor of a building without a lift. As for the low ceilings in the upstairs bedrooms, I don’t know how tall you are, but yes, you do need to bend down beneath the sloping ceilings. However, we have welcomed guests of many different nationalities and heights, and this has never apparently caused any problems. I’m genuinely sorry that you found the online check-in process difficult. However, if anything was unclear or if you needed any assistance during your stay, it’s a real shame that you didn’t contact us. We would have been more than happy to help.
