Such a wonderful property and the owners are such lovely people. It’s in a very quiet town but all necessities are within a short walk. Lots of history to see within a 30 minute drive.

An amazing oasis of calm

We loved the location, we loved the building and how it remained sympathetic to its history. It had everything we needed and more. We loved the swallows and little scops owl. We loved the village and the people. We loved Nik and Madalena, and our holiday full of laughter and fun. Very little. It's different from home and a perfect adventure.

Spectacular place!

This place was spectacular, and offered a truly unique experience. Nik and Madalena were excellent hosts and made sure everything was comfortable. The inner courtyard is simply stunning in its architecture, and adorned with wonderful artwork and sculptures, which are also found throughout the entire place. The mix of history and whimsy made for intrigue around every corner. It was also great to use the summer kitchen outdoors, which was well stocked with cookware and dishware. This is a place of dreams and a place we will stay at again without hesitation. Nothing to improve. Wonderful all around.

Super fijne plek!

De ruimte was fantastisch. Ook stonden de eigenaren altijd voor ons klaar en hadden ze goede tips voor plekken om heen te gaan. Wat meer borden en bestek is misschien wel handig. Omdat er zo weinig borden, glazen en bestek was moesten we na elke maaltijd ( ontbijt, lunch en diner ) de vaatwasser elke keer aanzetten. Dat is zonde van de elektriciteit want de vaatwasser zit dan maar half vol.

Un alojamiento increíble

El convento de Nick y su mujer es una experiencia única. Totalmente habilitado por ellos, cuidando cada detalle, este convento nos hizo pasar un fin de semana mágico que no vamos a olvidar facilmente. Muchas gracias también a los increíbles anfitriones por ayudarnos en todo y ser tan amables con nosotros. Si volvemos por la zona, creo que todos estamos de acuerdo en que nos encantaría pasar un fin de semana como el que hemos tenido en el convento. Nada, todo ha sido espectacular y único.
