The property was better than we expected! We were kindly greeted and showed around. 11 of us stayed for the week and loved it. The house was clean, comfortable beds and pillows, air conditioning for the hot nights, and a short walk to the beach. We were able to hire a chef to cook for us one evening while hanging out enjoying the pool. It was a dream of a stay.

Beautiful villa in a lovely part of Portugal and Cristina the host could not have been more helpful. The reason for the low value score is because this property, which cost over e7000.00 for the week was clearly listed as a 6 bedroom property, but only 5 of the bedrooms are available for guests. The grounds of the property are amazing, the pool was fabulous and the weather was awesome. Although the beach is only a 1 min walk, it is not really suitable for swimming. The main swimming beach is 2m down the road with lots of beach bars, surfboard hire and lenty more.Porto is a 20min drive away, easily done by Uber and we took a tour to the Douro valley which was exceptional. I would definitely go back to this part of Portugal.
