Fab little cottage in a great location within Aberfeldy. Cottage is well equipped and we loved the large bedroom with an extremely comfortable bed. Marie the owner very welcoming and friendly. Aberfeldy is great for your furry friends, fabulous walks and allowed in most pubs and eateries. Definitely recommend and will return.

Fonseca Cottage is comfortable, furnished to a very high standard.

Fonseca Cottage is comfortable, furnished to a very high standard. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The beds are extremely comfortable and there is an extra lounge area adjacent to the bedroom upstairs. The lounge downstairs is comfortable and the whole cottage is furnished in a tasteful manner. Fonseca cottage is within walking distance of the town centre and shops. Parking on the road is easy. The beauty of the surrounding area is outstanding and there are unlimited walks in Aberfeldy and throughout this region. We really enjoyed our stay. Above all the host is very welcoming, hospitable and helpful. We would love to return.

I loved my Christmas stay in Fonseca Cottage.

I loved my Christmas stay in Fonseca Cottage. I was very cosy with the wood burning stove and the normal heating also kept the cottage lovely and warm throughout. The cottage is spotlessly clean and well equipped. I particularly loved the location just a short walk from Aberfeldy centre. I can highland recommend the Birks cinema, Dewars distillery, and the various coffee shops listed in the booklet with the cottage, I think I tried most of them!! I even tried one on Christmas Day open to raise funds for Tayside Mountain Rescue. Further afield the Highland Chocolatier had two visits and also Cluny House Gardens with its red squirrels was a treat. Aberfeldy is a lovely friendly place to visit, especially if you are a solo visitor like me and Fonseca cottage is a beautiful cottage, the owner is super friendly too and happy to provide anything you find that the cottage is missing for you. I am already thinking about a return visit during 2025 as I enjoyed my stay so much.

A Perthshire gem.

A Perthshire gem. An ideal romantic getaway for couples. Our stay began with a lovely welcome in person from Marie with a tour of the property. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, small details had been carefully thought through. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and we enjoyed quiet peaceful sleep every night. There's a lovely wood burner but we didn't use it as the central heating was more than enough to keep the cottage toasty warm. The fully equipped kitchen was easy to cook in and hot water was on tap all the time. Despite modest size there was more than enough room for two and plenty of space to store clothes in drawers, on hangers and space for suitcases. Parking is on the road but at no point did we find any problem getting a spot within a few steps away. Internet was quick at c. 50mbps and reliable. We loved our stay and Marie was an exceptional host. The highest recommendation we can make is that we have this cottage pencilled in for next year already.
