Winter Break

Stayed for a week just before Christmas, in one of the townhouses. The accommodation was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Maid service was provided daily and was efficient and friendly. One of the key considerations for visiting the Algarve at this time of year was to have good heating - it does get cool in the evenings! No issues there - the aircon units were able to warm the rooms up pretty quickly. There was also wireless internet and satellite TV for evenings in. The resort also has plenty of parking and good leisure facilities (although we only used the golf course). Ate in the restaurant once and enjoyed it. Overall, this was a good choice for a winter break. Although a few restaurants in the Lagos area were closed for holidays, most things were open and there was still lots to do.

Lovely Stay

We had a wonderful stay here. There was clear communication prior to check in and they were able to accommodate our requests for beds pushed together and a car park space. If you aren't able to secure a car park space, there is lots of free street parking around the property. All the staff were really friendly and the kitchen had every utensil you could need. It's a 5 minute walk to a Spar if you would like to cook, and the Old Town is about 10 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing.

Far better than the reviews say. Really lovely for families and older teens families. 2 bed appartment was perfect. Beautiful view of marina feom the swimming pool. Lots of restaurants to choose from.

Oasis of tranquility

Fantastic oasis of tranquility to enjoy the sunshine. Walking distance to the beach, Lagos, Ponta da Piadade. The staff were all really helpful. Simple decor but all we needed - and better than the photos. Great to have a little kitchen where we could make coffee, fruit etc for breakfast. The place was spotlessly clean - felt entirely Covid safe.

Nice hotel, just out of the way

We stayed here for 3 nights as we were attending a wedding in Alvor. The rooms are really nice. They are clean, spacious and have a good quality finish. The hotel has a calm, secure atmosphere. We spent the first day chilling around the pool and there were plenty of available sun beds (not sure how it would be during school holidays). The bar is next to the pool and prices are reasonable. I'd definitely go back with the full family, they have a kids club during the day. The only downside as far as I could see is the location as it is quite far away and you need a 5-10 minute taxi ride to get anywhere. We used Uber a lot which was really cheap.
