Twenty minutes from Sulphur Springs-Dale Hollow, forty minutes from Wolf Creek Dam and Hatchery Creek. The house is Victorian on the outside and cabin on the inside. The upstairs has a loft with a futon, upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a pullout couch, shower and laundry. Downstairs Bedroom is a double bed, pullout couch and Full bath. The living room has a pullout couch and two oversized chairs surrounding the fireplace. My wife decorated this and I will tell you, you will love this place. Between the swing on the front porch and the beautiful back patio and river hammock you can choose your method of relaxation.
Sit by the fire, pitch horseshoes, fish and BBQ on one of the Wood, Charcoal or Gas grills over looking the river or get adventurous and try your hand at the Wood fired pizza oven! There are playing cards, cribbage, corn hole, crokinole and a dartboard if you like games. AC, Heat, Galley Kitchen, indoor fireplace, washer/dryer, sheets, pillows and towels. There is also wifi, Internet ROKU TV.
You can use the boat ramp that adjoins the property it is a community ramp that we maintain. You won't see the boat activity down here that you see in the first 15 miles down from Wolf Creek Dam, six boats a day is a lot. This a great base camp for large trout, striper and walleye. Book a trip with Gregg to see the river, fish for trout or learn to fly fish!

Why they chose this property
Our dream has always been to live on a river full of trout and now its no longer a dream. If there is one thing about trout, its that they live in beautiful places and this is no exception. We love Burkesville its small town USA, we can go to the hardware store or grocery store and everyone knows your name. We have several like minded neighbors forming our little river community on Riverbrook Trail. We feel truely blessed to live in such a beautiful place.
What makes this property unique
The house is very nice, knotty pine, decorated nicely with river views from every room EXCEPT the bathrooms! The backyard is the crown jewel in my opinion. Nice lower level grassy area near the river is always cooler with a picnic table and hammock. Raised concrete patio with the gas grill, table and chairs. If you like outdoor cooking you can choose from wood, charcoal, gas or wood fired pizza oven. The house is stocked, you are going to over pack!!!
